The throughput is not as good as other brands, but the additional features (Anti-Virus and QOS) makes this product well worth the price. While I did not have any issues with the app as other reviewers have had, I do wish it was accessible by a browser on the network. But that should not stop you from purchasing this product. I have ZERO dead areas in my home.

I just wished that TP-Link made an ourdoor version so that guest can access the Wireless from the backyard during get togethers.

I got this product over a year ago. Set up was easy. I live in a condo complex and have 2 other roomates. At approximately 7pm until 11pm every night we would all start getting knocked offline or endless buffering. This system ended that and we all noticed general improvement with our device speeds. Fast forward to current day. We just switched internet providers and I was having an issue setting the mesh system back up. Hans walked me through each step. In the 30 minutes overall that we were without the mesh, all of us were going through the 7pm crunch again. One got kicked out of their class. Anyway, thanks Hans we are all set again and running strong.

Syncing the additional slave discs was spotty and took a while. Worked only with Bluetooth mode which only becomes available after failing to sync several times. Internet worked great for one day then crashed. Help options not helpful and tech difficult to understand and was not able to fix problem

Estuve investigando mucho sobre soluciones para control parental y que en efecto sirvan a dicho propósito, que sean intuitivos ya que los padres difícilmente se van a dar el tiempo de configurar un router estándar en un panel de configuración estándar como la mayoría de ruteadores. En este caso, utilizas una app con la que vas a tener el control de los dispositivos en tu red, controlar horarios, bloquear dispositivos, bloquear páginas a ciertos usuarios o perfiles, etc. Todo ésto desde la app que descargues y funciona para Android o iOS . Debes dedicarte un tiempo para comprender bien todo el alcance de la app pero una vez lo comprendes te otorga todo el control y es muy manejable. Otra cosa, si comparas ésta solución con repetidores estándar, verás también que no hay comparación pues éste producto resolvió todos los problemas de acceso a la red en una casa grande con muros gruesos y siempre estábamos batallando por puntos sin acceso, todo ésto se resolvió con éste producto y eliminamos los repetidores estándar que antes teníamos
