This Pro Meat Probe is specifically designed for precision temperature tracking with the iGrill Mini, iGrill 2, and iGrill 3. This heavy-duty meat probe measures between -58°F and 716°F with a length of 48 in. and is designed for extreme grilling and smoking. Comes with a cord wrap that mounts perfectly on the back of your unit and snaps together with your additional probes.

One came already with the grill but for this Christmas I needed an additional one to monitor 2 turkey breast’s. I also have a meat thermometer with that I double check the temperature and it’s right on point!It depend of what I grill in the future I might get an other one

I am using the third probe since I have the thermometer, and the probe winds onto a plastic form for storage. The same piece of this has broken on each probe. We use the weber grill thermometer sytem almost every time we grill. If there are varying thickness on meats being cooked I use one in the thickness and one in the thinnest to take them off at chosen temps - the weber thermometer has 4 probe inputs. I wipe them down with a damp cloth. Washing them doesn't seem to work, they seem ok at the beginning of the cook but go off scale a while into it. Have made that mistake, replaced 2.

All probes eventually go bad. When my original Weber probes reached their end of life I went the cheap route and bought some off-brand probes. Boy, was that a mistake. They were horribly inaccurate and lasted only a few months before going bad. At that point I didn’t go cheap and bought Weber’s probe. They work well for me. They are much more accurate and they just keep on working.

There are some times you can buy an off-brand and they work just as well, sometimes better than, the original. For probes for your iGrill you don’t want to go cheap. Stick with the Weber brand and you’ll save yourself some pain and frustration.
