You can play Story Mode with a pair of Joy-Con controllers or a second player* can join in some couch co-op fun with another set of Joy-Con controllers.

Warioware Move It

Battle it out with 2-4 players*, each with one Joy-Con controller, in the local Party Mode. Reach the goal without getting caught by Medusa or take on a dicey board game with Wario’s very own rules. Move alongside your friends in these laugh-worthy contests where everyone can get excited.

A Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required for Save Data Cloud backup.

WEARING THE Joy-Con STRAP When playing with a controller detached from the Nintendo Switch console, use the strap. Lock and fasten the strap securely. Hold the controller firmly. Do not let go of it, unless otherwise instructed. Allow adequate room around you during game play.

*Additional accessories may be required for multiplayer mode. Sold separately.

Every fun when you encounter the microgame for the first time.After you learn what to do, the microgame losses its luster, but there are challenges to get higher score with microgames objectives speeding up as you go alongDespite “Move It” in the title, its not a workout game where you break a sweat--Plot:Wario buys 50 garlic burgers which give him a chance to win an all expense vacation for 20 friends. He wins.Wario and his gang go on vacation island and antics ensues. You play as wario and his friends, each introducing several poses and their own themed mini story while they are on vacationThere are cutscenes after each successful batch of microgames in story campaign--Gameplay:Hold a pose to get ready to do sudden movements* in microgame .Lift arm, move arm side-to-side, drop arm, move arm up-and-down, flick wrist, twist wrist, twist body, sway body, tilt body, stretch body, etc.You will need the joycon strap as there’s a pose where you must drop the joycon and let it dangle on your wristone poses utilize the IR sensor on joycon controllerAt times you must use button presses on joyon while doing pose and movementGame is very forgiving in main story campaign. My middle school boys think this is the greatest game ever. They had Wario Get It Together and received Move It for Christmas. It's basically the same type gameplay, but with motions. We did have to buy more remotes because it only works with the 2 piece remotes. The $25 off-brand remotes work fine but aren't nearly as sensitive to the movements and sometimes that's a problem, so we will probably eventually get another set of switch brand remotes. The moves are hilarious to watch and we all end up laughing and then they lose the game because they're laughing so hard. All in all, it's hours of fun!

Just like previous WarioWare games in the series it has everything you would expect. A cute simplistic cartoon artstyle. Humor that's crude and weird. Voice acting sounds great. This is the first entry where Wario is voiced by "Kevin Afghani" instead of Charles Martinet's portrayal. It sounds fine but long time fans will catch on very quickly. The entire roaster of characters have a vacation summertime theme. It's interesting to see what crazy antics they get into. The Story mode lasts for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Move It has tons of variety modes for multiplayer. The biggest highlight is of course the fast paced mini games referred to as "microgames." This feels like a sequel to Smooth Moves from the Wii. To play it you need both joy cons with wrist straps attached but also you have to physically stand up moving your body in different poses called "forms" in order to win the microgames. Difficulty is medium paced. If you get a game over you'll get a second chance at getting back into the microgames instead of starting over from the beginning. Sometimes you might experience input delays. If that happens make sure the joy cons have the latest update installed from the Switch's settings. Overall WarioWare Move It is a fun party romp that can be enjoyed by everybody. 4/5 stars! Highly recommended.
