I debated between these and the Felco for a long time but went with these and I'm so glad I did. I was mostly concerned about the latching mechanism on these being difficult to use but it's actually great, much easier than the thumb latch and very robust. These feel great in hand, are the perfect size for what I need, cut great and make a very satisfying sound!!
Honestly I go searching for more things to prune just to use them!! I will say that it's not stainless steel so it does rust, even though I usually wipe them off and I even oiled them over the winter. All in all these are a great pruner at a fair price and I would definitely buy them again (although I don't think I'll have to as this pair seems like it will last for quite a while!).

Beware of fakes and knockoffs
Spotted the 103 priced at $19.10 a couple weeks ago. Great price, ordered 2 from seller 'The Spicy British' based in Canada.When they arrived, they were so laughably obvious as fakes. The packaging was thin and cheap, what I would expect from an item from Dollar General- the molded plastic was as floppy as a ziploc bag and the cardboard backing was a cheap card stock.I ordered a third pair from a Japan based seller for better comparison. In the photos, the fake Okatsune is on the right. The real Okatsune is on the left. Every single detail is slightly different as is the balance and handling of the tools themselves. Compare the hardware- spring size, the locking mechanism (one is plastic, the Okatsune is metal), the way the blades meet, the steel itself.True Okatsune is 5 stars. I have several models and they are all great quality and long lasting. The knockoffs are worth $8 at best and the flimsy spring wouldn't last very long with regular use. Beware when buying and make sure you're getting the authentic product for your money.I'll be returning the two fakes.
