Whether shooting sports, events, or reportage, this S-Line telephoto zoom lens covers all the bases for stills and video. Focusing is fast, smooth, and silent. Sharpness is outstanding throughout the frame—even when shooting at the widest aperture. When shooting video, focus breathing is all but eliminated.

    nach inzwischen knapp 15 Jahren fotografieren mit DSLR bzw. nun auch Systemkameras hat sich der Anspruch an das Equipment stetig gesteigert.
    Ich betreibe es an einer z6 II

    Nach viel Ringen, ob ich eine solche Ausgaben tätigen soll, hat es sich am Ende mehr als gelohnt: Die Schärfe, das unfassbar schöne Bokeh, der Autofokus, der schneller ist, als ich fassen kann, dazu die hervorragende Korrektur sämtlicher Bildfehler, die man von anderen Objektiven kennt…. Kurz um diese 70-200 ist scheinbar das perfekte Objektiv, dass ich seit so vielen Jahren schon so gerne schon immer gehabt hätte.
    Kontrast? Top!
    Weiche Kanten? Nix da! Farbverachiebung bei z. B. nassen Steinen im prallen Licht? Nix da. (Googelt mal das Sony 50mm 1.8 … unglaublich!)
    Gegenlichtverhalten? Kein Problem mehr.
    Eine LED Strassenlampe im dunklen von unten fotografiert und man kann erkennen, wo der Elektriker die Leitungen anschlossen hat und welche Farbe die Aderendhülsen haben. Krass.

    Selbst die Fasern und Fussel an Blättern vor der untergehenden Sonne werden abgebildet, wie ich es noch nicht erlebt habe. Man kann sogar kleine Läuse und Fruchtfliegen erkennen und unterscheiden (an den Flügeln).

    Mir ist gestern Abend aufgefallen, dass ein Foto, dass ich vor einigen Jahren mit einer D7200 mit Tamron 28-75 2.8 im Tierpark aufgenommen habe, im Vergleich mit dem was jetzt möglich ist, aussieht wie ein Handyfoto. Es ist unglaublich.

    Der einzige Mini Wermutstropfen ist tatsächlich die Größe und das Gewicht. Doch selbst wenn man nur eine Hecke fotografiert und sich das Bild anschaut, wird einem klar, dass das Gewicht völlig egal ist. So derbe krass ist die Bildqualität, dass dieses Objektiv über alle Zweifel erhaben ist.

    Und da das Gewicht vorm Kauf klar ist… kein Punkteabzug und ich vergebe trotz des Preises 5+ Sterne.

    Update: Nach zwei Monaten mit dem Objektiv muss ich gestehen, dass es das mit Abstand beste Objektiv ist, dass ich jemals gesehen oder getestet habe. Ich bin so unfassbar Glücklich über die Ergebnisse, dass ich mich bei viele Aufnahmen Frage, wie diese so wunderbaren Bilder auf die Karte in meiner Kamera gekommen sind... unglaublich gut.

    First 70-200mm f2.8 glass and the quality is superb.
    Color, image quality (raw and jpeg) are impressive compared to the 24-120mm f4 z lens even at f2.8.
    Even when pushing the limits in LRC, i find the quality of the image better than other lenses i own. (At leadt to my eyes).
    The lens arrived very fast and with Nikon Poland warranty (not a gray market product).
    A decision - investment that took a lot of time to take, but not regretting it at all.
    The lens is used on a Z6ii body and its fast focusing, silent, and seems and feels like the high quality lens that it is.
    A bit heave when hand held for long time but manageable even for 3-4 hours photoshoots with 1500-2000 frames captured, and i am not a very athletic person. (Of course hands will get a bit tired but not terrible).
    Im not a professional photographer, but i can recommend this lens for anyone having the dilemma of buying or not buying it due to the high quality results.
    Bokeh is nice and smooth and sharpness and auto focus accuracy are also excellent (even with the limitations of the Z6ii)
    Not a cheep lens, but in my opinion worth the premium in all aspects.

    Having purchased a Nikon Z8 this year, I needed to replace my wonderful 70-200 lens with a Z model. The older lens worked well enough on the Nikon converter but its extra projection and massive weight was just too much for me to cope with. I am ultra pleased with the new lens and it was definitely worth the money. Its focus is far slicker that the older model and of course it takes advantage of all the facilities afforded by the Z8. In comparative tests, I am amble to get closer to subjects for close up work than with the older model and the depth of field at full aperture is delightfully shallow with a nice bokeh behind the subject. It is still a heavy lens but with less projection the weight is much earlier to cope with (I am unable to walk well so stability with a heavy camera /lens is a big issue for me). The price on Amazon was an amazing discount to the normal main players and delivery was fast with the lens very well packed. I am a very happy purchaser!!
