I have been a St. Tropez user for many years, but it seems they’ve recently changed the recipe. The product is terrible now. Streaky, too dark, and wears off so easily! I rested my hand on my bare leg for 5 minutes, and now I have an embarrassing handprint (and this was 2 full days after application). I never leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn any prospective buyers! Don’t waste your time.

I have tried many sunless tanning lotions and so far this one is my favorite. Not only does it give me a tan but is smells nice and fresh and it makes my skin soft. I think it’s easier to use than a lot of other tanners. I apply right after my shower and by the time I get through brushing my teeth, etc., I put my clothes on and ready to go. So far (although I rinse off before I get in bed), I have not noticed that it transfers and I have white sheets.

And now I can say I’m very happy I listened to others! Love the scent, the moisturizing effect, and it does a beautiful job giving me some color…since I’m about as white as white can be. If you’re fair like me, this is a great pick.

Lotions smells good and the tan is nice (I’m a redhead) it’s not orange. I use it every other day and it’s nice. I do have to take a few days off and exfoliate really well because it will build up and look splotchy. I use it on my face more often because it doesn’t work as well on my face compared to the rest of my body.

I give 3 star because I have not used this yet, I am waiting for it to arrive. I did love their in shower tanner, sadly they discontinued it. NEC, I read your review and the absolute best year round natural gradual tan lotion is the Hemp Malibu, apply it daily after a shower. In the spring and summer, I like to mix it with the tanning drops for enhancement, and it always looks amazing. I also found using St. Tropez in shower gradual tan added to the routine made this even better, as it helps bring back color after exfoliation and restarting your tan, they discontinued it, and just the hemp Malibu tan mixed with the drops is great, but I am going to try this one and divide times for application to see if it will give the same results because I also loved how it helped to extend my tan a d fade evenly with the in shower tanner. I really hope this was helpful, not just for you, but for anyone else reading this. Another thing I like if you prefer not to use the drops, is the b.tan clear gel glow your own way, and with any of these, it is always best to remember to always use a tanning mit to apply, and a few mins later, apply a regular moisturizer lotion, and never cake on face, hands, elbows, knees, or feet. NEC, mixing less amount of product to regular lotion is absolutely the way to go, it helps to better spread and dry on more evenly. Hope this helps.

This is not a gradual tan by any means. Comes out really dark (orange) and extremely patchy. No Color guide so it’s hard to see where the product has been placed. As someone who is an avid self tanner , I would never buy this product again. Stained my hands and fingers and a week after I still cannot remove the streaks. 0 stars
