The scent starts off like tropical fruit (mango or papaya maybe). But after a couple hours the dreaded sunless tanner "dorito smell" starts going on. *You know what I'm talking about. Sure you can shower it off but it's probably not going to present the level of tan you're hoping. If I wanted to smell like that I would have bought a sunless tanner that develops faster. Unfortunately this isn't the product I was hoping it would be. On the plus side the slight color that develops (depite the smell) is not orange.

It is very moisturising and does not turn you orange. I would recommend to wash your hands after use as it tanned my hands more than anywhere else.
