Great Digital Space Heater for Those Cool Days and Nights!!!
I love the Dreo Space Heater so much that I'm thinking about buying a second one. First time purchasing a heater with a digital thermostat and it does an excellent job keeping small areas or rooms warm. I know it's Spring, but you never know how temperamental this weather can be. It definitely comes in clutch for those cool mornings. Temperature ranges from 41° to 95°. The fan has three levels to determine the strength of output. You can even set a timer for how long you want to it be on. Can't go wrong by adding this purchase to your to do list. I already recommended this space heater to my friends and family.

I have updated my rating to five stars after using the replacement unit, sometimes around the clock, for approximately 3 weeks.

Every function described works perfectly. Two thing I particularly appreciate are how quiet it is, and the automatic way it reduces its display once set.

These things matter because, right now, I am in a situation without central heat, while I complete tasks related to clearing out a house. This heater heats the area where I sleep and work my day job (telehealth) quite comfortable. The sound is not intrusive during Zoom appointments, and that is quite remarkable.

Also, the description of how widely the heat is distributed is quite accurate (I mean, I didn’t get out a protractor, just saying). When I am sleeping (on a long, deep sofa, I am warm from head to toes, as is my large dog. The night time low temperatures outside have been in the teens and single digits, and I am in an open floor plan space with a cathedral-style ceiling. It is not well insulated. The windows (of which there are many) are not double glazed, nor do they have storm windows installed.

Based upon these things, I feel quite confident that this heater will easily extend the camping season, ice fishing, drafty spaces, and emergency situations in which one might be in an unheated vehicle for an extended period of time.

When I unboxed and set the heater up, all o my impressions were positive: size, appearance, ease of use, helpful quick start and more detailed instructions. I turned it in and was very pleased with its efficacy. Far superior to space heaters of many sizes that I have encountered in the past. The warmth and ability to control it were great. The fan was quiet and smooth. The unit could be used in fan-only mode.

One thing I had not expected was the ECO mode. It is a gem. This mode lets you set a temperature, and then the unit chooses what heat level to use to achieve it. It adjusts itself to fluctuations of temperature. Really neat!

The timer offers one hour increments, and is easy to adjust. Should you not use the timer, there is an automatic shut down at 24 hours.

I guess that last point means that the unit is meant to run for significant lengths of time. Mine did not.

I used the unit in eco mode for about two hours and then shut it off when I left the area. When I came back, a couple of hours later, I set it up to run overnight—again in ECO mode, and with a lower temperature. It worked a beautifully for approximately 7.5 hours..

I turned it off when I got up. Then, as the afternoon drew on and day got colder, I went to snuggle up with the heater and watch a movie.

That is when I noticed that the fan was not turning. I read through all of the troubleshooting instructions, none of which address this issue.

The heating element continues to function, but, unfortunately, it does not project the heat more than a couple of inches from the unit.

I have initiated a replacement process and we’ll see. I will update as I have more info.

I bought two of these this winter. I love them! If one dies I will buy it again immediately.

I WFH and keep one of them in my office, under my desk. It allows me to keep the house really cool in the winter and only heat the room I'm in. I run this one full blast and turn it on and off manually when I feel warm enough.

The other one went into my 3-season room. It's a big sunroom, the length of my house (the biggest room in my house, actually!) and even though I live in the south and have mild winters, it can be very cold in that room. I usually just close it off and don't use it at all until spring, but this year I was fostering kittens and keeping them out there. For their sake, we needed a heater. For this room, I put the heater on thermostat mode - setting a temperature and relying on it to turn on and off as needed even when nobody is out there checking.

In both cases, it's worked perfectly. Even with tiny goblins tearing all over that room, I never felt they would injure themselves on it or that we would have a fire. If you lift it up at all, even a tiny bit, it shuts off. They're wide and sturdy and hard to knock over anyway, either from kitties or from me kicking it by accident. The high heat is very hot and heats my small office quickly. The heater is small, like the size of a coffeepot or so, and was plenty strong enough to keep my big sunroom at a reasonable temperature.

They don't seem to get as dusty and gross as many others I've tried, because the grate is very small on front and nothing gets trapped on blades or whatever. They look really nice - people usually think it's a smart speaker and compliment them. They're small enough to store easily, could even be stacked in a closet because they are flat, and super easy to pick up and move to another place when needed. They never smell like burning and aren't too loud. Great buy!
