Really well written, very informative with plenty of actionable clear steps to take. It's one of the most gorgeous work books I have ever purchased. Really gorgeous photographs and case studies. The tips dotted through the book are spot on and talking terms for me and my creative friends who also own businesses. I have both of Fiona's books and have taken several courses because she was listed as a speaker. As long as she continues to produce work of this standard she has a life long customer in me. I am glad I read this before taking any steps to re-brand my styling business.

I read Fiona's first book "How to style your brand" which I loved but this one takes you to an other level.
The book is beautiful, inspirational, practical and I love everything about it.

Fiona Humberstone has written a "must-have" book for anyone starting a business, as well as anyone who wants to improve a business. The book is clearly written, along with gorgeous photography. You will be tempted to just flip through the book, just to look at photos, but there are so many nuggets of wisdom. I highly recommend visiting her website for the free resources she offers. If you take the time to do the exercises, you will be amazed at how much clarity you will gain - that was my experience, anyway. I continue to re-visit her book, especially for hints about photography and designing websites. So far, this has been my best purchase of the year. Yes, it's that good.

I cannot recommend this book enough. Humberstone demonstrates the brilliance of her thought with the brilliance of the book itself. Its ideas, color, layout and style are her examples of how to put her tips into practice, along with highlighting other businesses throughout. Humberstone offers concrete advice that accounts for the unique personalities of businesses. I have begun implementing her steps for my own business, my husband's business and a non-profit organization I volunteer for.

This book is beautiful and inspiring. And it is so much more than that. The clear messaging in this book is smart and specific. I was afraid it wouldn't be too evergreen, but the content is so evergreen that it can be translated to many creative outlets. I love it. It is officially a staple feature on my desk.

I bought this book because I loved the cover and - in a sea of books about branding and marketing - the book's own branding stood out.

I think I read the first half three times before the messages started to click with me. Until then, I had the vague impression I needed to learn something from this book... but what...?

About halfway through, I realized that I needed to backtrack a bit. I then read Cron's "Story or Die" and Hall's "Stories that Stick," to better understand my audience, my business, and - in a way - myself.

Then, I was able to go back to "Brand Brilliance" and understand Humberstone's advice on an entirely new, deeper level.

Though that may seem like a roundabout way to craft my marketing and message, it was perfect for me. The visuals in "Brand Brilliance" must have seeped into my brain and... well, they did SOMEthing that started the "ah-HA!" moments that followed.

My website traffic immediately leaped 20% and my book income has been up more than 10% each of the past two weeks. While that might not dazzle many people, the results were so immediate, I know it's related to the domino effect that began when I read the first part of this book.

So, my advice is: Read this book. Even if you think a lot of it doesn't apply to your business, keep reading. Explore more bedrock marketing issues (as I did) if you need to, and then go back to this book. I believe what's in this book - both the text and the visuals - can be a tremendous boost and long-term asset for any marketer... especially those of us with creative careers, working on our own.

This has been a helpful read for me! Usually business books just scratch the surface but this one really makes you work through each element of your brand and finally make decisions. I highly recommend for those that are looking to pivot their brand or start a new brand.

Il contenuto è fantastico, consigliato a chiunque abbia bisogno di una guida per creare o rinfrescare il proprio brand. Prezzo irrisorio ma la consegna piuttosto lunga (ma comunque entro la data indicata).
