Edited to add user interface is a bit difficult to navigate.
But consider a few things. Mainly value for money. Look at how many games you get for the price of one. Look at the selection and range of games. Pretty incredible.
To date I have only really played streets of rage. I loved that game so much I don't know how many times I beat it. Now I have all three of them and will happily play them over and over. But I remember shinobi, loved it, and of course sonic. Some of the other games i will be discovering or rediscovering. But really it's simple minded fun at it's best.
And I love the introductory screen looking just like an old bedroom from the 1990s. A nice touch.
For the price, you really can't (ahem, legally) beat this collection. It's much cheaper than tracking down the original carts or buying them piecemeal digitally.
Some may cry foul at the big missing games mentioned earlier, I myself was disappointed at the complete lack of Sega CD, 32X, and Master System/Game Gear titles. But hey, it looks like there's room for 20 more games on the virtual shelf in the game, so maybe we'll get some more as DLC?
