Product Description

Happy Feet is based on Warner Bros' upcoming comedy adventure. You'll jump into the shoes of Mumble, a young penguin born into a nation of singing Emperor Penguins. In this land, each Penguin needs a Heartsong to attract a soul mate. Unfortunately, Mumble is the worst singer in the world... But he is a brilliant tap dancer! Based on the general storyline of the film, the player will be able to experience life from the point of view of Mumble in music, dance and interaction with the friends and enemies of the penguin's world.

I bought this game from GameStop on "black friday" along with a couple of other games and didn't think on saturday I would beat the game twice in one day on sunday I beat it again for the third time just for fun neatless to say I took it back to GameStop and got: Ice Age 2 - GBA. Which I like Ice Age 2 way better than this game "Happy Feet" the game Happy Feet is cute and has a great little storyline but to be quite frank and honest I felt as though I were reading a children's book for kids under the age of 5 and plus the game is very very repetitive it play's the same two mini games for each and every level I figured if I played the whole game through the first time as I progressed through the game maybe there might be different games to play well I was wrong! Dead wrong! 23 levels and the same two mini games through out the whole game. Very dissapointed with this DS game. Although I loved the movie the movie in it's self was very cute and charming. This game seriously bites the big one. If you like DS games that are repetitive, boring, & have penguin's in them then buy this DS game. Other wise don't waste your money on this DS game trust me there are thousands of other DS games to pick from this just isn't a very great game I now see why GameStop had this game marked down so low they sold it to me for [...] in case anyone want's to know how much I paid for this game.

I bought this for my two yr old. He even thought it was boring. I couldn't return it so I tossed it in the trash. Hopefully they did better with the next game at least add some different stuff to it

The game was for my 3 1/2 year-old son. He loved the movie and asked for the game. He has really enjoyed it! I have even played it a few times. THe games are really simple, but definitely require good fine motor skills.

I cannot believe I wasted my time on this game, only to hope that it would be better. Spoiler Alert: IT DOES NOT!
Alright, so what am I complaining about?
Well for starters, there's two types of levels - Dancing and sliding. The kicker? The dancing levels are poor riffs on Nintendo's super-rad Elite Beat Agents. All you do here is just tap the circles at proper timing. Unlike EBA, there's no variety, and you just tap, and tap, and tap until the shoehorned-from-pop-culture song ends.

The meat of the game takes place within the sliding levels, and believe me when I say these things take up WAY more of the game than the dancing levels. In fact, I think there were merely 8 dancing levels or less, and the rest of the game is flooded with sliding. That probably wouldn't be too horrifying if it wasn't for the fact that the game took TWO AND A HALF HOURS TO FINISH! I am NOT kidding. The game file kept track of my time, and the game took THAT LONG to complete. And like the dancing, there's no variety. You just slide down the hills until you reach the finish. Every. Single. Time. Sure, there are the rare times where you must collect stuff on your way down, but the result makes this game overall feel exactly like filler. Filler in place of what could have been substance for an actual game.

This is a favorite game of several young kids in my family. They like the cute penguin graphics, music, and games. They liked trying to beat their records of how many items they coudl collect on the games, even after playing the same game several times.

First of all, I never saw the movie, and I don't care to. Infact, I wouldn't even have played the game except for my little sister got it for her birthday and wanted me to play it with her.

The first thing I noticed is the dance part of the game, where you tap the circles at the right moment to make the penguin dance, well..this is a huge rip off of Elite Beat Agents, how unoriginal can they possibly get? Elite Beat Agents excels, while Happy Feet is just a joke, and such a bad insult.

The other part of the game, basically all you have to do is sled down hill on your belly, avoiding things on the way down, and finally crossing the finish line.

So, do yourselves a favor, and stay away from this game, fan of the movie or not.
