It is definitely not much of a thinkers game, it is the kind of game where you destroy everything that comes in your way.
The cutscenes are good with good voice acting.
This game is a great addition for the PlayStation (2 or 3) and for anyone who likes super hero action games.
Known as the DC-version of the X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, Justice League Heroes is a top-down action role-playing game that follows the Justice League on a series of adventures. Although writer Dwayne McDuffie tells a decent tale, the game does not explain who each individual villain is so if you are not up-to-date on your DC villains you may be scrambling to Wikipedia to find out who The Key, Gorilla Grodd or Queen Bee are and why they are so bent on attacking innocent civilians and destroying things. Arguably, a better approach would have been for the story narrative to take a step back and introduce how the Justice League came about. This way, as you play through the game a new hero joins the team. In each chapter, the new team member could explain to the other heroes (and the audience) who the villain is and share a brief history of the dastardly evil doer. It would also be an interesting way for the gamer to watch the Justice League build and unite as they play through the game.
Pros
+ Play as all of the best* DC heroes (*note: Billy Batson/Captain Marvel is missing).
+ "Champions of Norrath"/"X-Men: Legends" style of play.
+ Custom build your characters with the super powers and abilities that you like to use.
Cons
-Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Hellboy, Alien: Resurrection) is a great actor but Batman, he is not. We really could have used veteran Batman voice actor, Kevin Conroy here instead and I cannot imagine that Kevin Conroy would have cost more than Ron Perlman. Also with Justice League Unlimited writer Dwayne McDuffie on-board why wouldn't they?
-The "Boosts" system, which enhances your super powers, is not explained very well. You could waste a lot of 2 or 3 level boosts trying to combine them to push a level 6 boost to a level 7. I would have preferred the "find treasure" method that X-Men Legends and Champions of Norrath employs instead of combining speed, efficiency, etc. boosts.
-You cannot always choose your Justice League "team" on certain missions. Meaning that if you want to play as Green Lantern and Green Arrow, certain missions are restricted to specific characters (such as Batman and Superman). "Team" is in quotations because you are limited to a team of two. This is the Justice LEAGUE. Why are they only going out on missions in pairs?
-As alluded to above, there is no 4-player ability. The Justice League is reduced to a Justice pair in for every mission. Unlike X-Men Legends or Ultimate Avengers you select two team members and the other Justice Leaguers mysteriously take a break on the sidelines.

No spoilers, but the storyline will entertain not so much for the story itself but for all of the marvelous locations you will be allowed to explore in the ENTIRE universe!
I found myself liking Superman and Zatana more. It’s fun single but excellent in two player more.
