Product Description
Product Description
Super Mario Advance is a combination of a souped-up version of Super Mario Bros. 2 and an action-packed 4-player version of the original Mario Bros. arcade game. Whether you're playing alone or with 3 of your friends, Super Mario Advance is the perfect game to break in your new Game Boy Advance! Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad adventure through an incredible fantasy world on a quest to save the day, with little more than vegetables with which to defend themselves. Unlike other Mario games where Mario defeats enemies by jumping on their heads, in this game Mario and pals have to pick up items and hurl 'em at their adversaries. Even enemies can be picked up and tossed across the screen, such as Princess Peach's ability to hover longer than any other character.

In Mario's debut on the Game Boy Advance platform, the swashbuckling plumber goes back to what he knows best: side-scrolling adventure. Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad wander this richly colored fantasyland to fight new and original enemies by collecting items to throw at them (alas, the famous jump attack isn't enough to dissuade these foes). Players are allowed to choose which character they'll play as--you can even switch between levels--and each in the cast has different strengths. For example, Luigi can jump higher than his brother, Mario, but the plumber is faster. Super Mario Advance also has a multiplayer game where up to four Game Boy Advance units can be linked together via the separately sold communication cable, allowing you to wage friendly battles for collectible coins using Koopa shells.

Super Mario Advance adds features that weren't in the NES, or All Stars versions of Mario 2, at the end of the game, you can go back through any level and find all the ace-coins you missed along the way. Finding all the ace-coins in a level grants you a 1-up. Next is the Yoshi egg challenge, where you have to run around the levels to find 2 hidden Yoshi eggs. Gotta say, some of them are hard to find. But its certainly a welcome change from the Original.
Overall, I recommend this game to anyone who wants to either get into Mario, or just wants another game for their GBA, I'd recommend getting this game instead of the Original or Super Nintendo versions, because this game has a save feature and unlimited continues, so no matter if you get a game over, it just starts you up at the beginning of the level. So for those who want a more fun and laid back experience, you can buy the GBA cartridge, or alternatively, if you don't own a GBA, you can purchase this game off the Wii U Virtual Console for about 8 bucks. Thanks for reading!

Leider kriegt man Herzen (Lebensanzeige) quasi hinterhergeworfen was das Spiel viel einfacher macht.
