*This is not a review from Renee but her 18 year old son. Imagine a game with no rage-quitters, no quick-scopers, and insanely fun tactical gameplay. In a nutshell, that is Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. After recently receiving my pre-ordered copy of SGW2, I have put plenty of time in it and have a definite opinion on it. Let me start off by saying that the Ghost Warrior 2 game has surpassed my expectations and has become debatably my favorite game, even over any installment in the Call of Duty series. It may not be as fast paced as CoD, but that is a large part of the reason I like it more. While it may have a few people that pretend it is Call of Duty, running up next to you and shooting you, it is pretty easy to look past once you get the feel of the game. The graphics are for the most part pretty good, and the bullet ballistics are out of this world. The single player story line is crafted quite well, putting the character in a large variety of areas. While the multiplayer currently only has one game mode and two maps, City Interactive has announced free DLC including a new mode, and two maps. I can't stress enough how much of a rush it is to squeeze the trigger and watch the bullet land in someone, leaving them to wonder where you were. The one thing I would change doesn't even have to do with the game itself, but its community; people will cross enemy lines and walk right next to you leaving you with no chance unless you see him cross or know he is there. While it is a relatively rare nuisance, it is nothing to keep you from buying the game. Overall, it is a fantastic game providing tactical gameplay no other game can match. Those who have played SGW1 will know that it had some flaws, but no matter your review on the first game, the second is one I would highly recommend buying- It is well worth the money.

-thanks amazon for giving me a hard copy and a digital download code for sniper ghost warrior 1. Don't see a need to have both but what the heck-
I truly hated the first ghost so much I really wasn't very interested in this but hey for $40 plus I get he first one that I can resell I said by not.
Iv played a few missions so far and I very much like it.
The story is realistic and fun to play, the gameplay is very solid and the sniping mechanics are top notch.
You must lay or crouch when shooting or the scope will bounce around.
You must gently squeeze the trigger or the recoil will cause the gun to jump up.
Enemies will flank you when they have you out numbered, but will stay back and try to pick you off when there's only a few of them.
One thing I'm very happy they fixed is you can now lay in a bush or in grass and be hidden and enemies will run by you. You couldn't do that in the first one, they always saw you.
Downside to the game is its pretty short. There's three acts in the game, and only a few missions. I beat act one which had three missions which took me 30 minutes each for the first two and 20 minutes for the third and act two took about 50 minutes combined.
So the game is about 3-4 hours long. Not good.
Graphics-7
The graphics are very outdated. Blood looks terrible, plants and explosions look really bad as well.
Gameplay-9
The gameplay is outstanding. One of the most realistic shooters created, if not the most.
Sound-8
Sound is good but not great. Iv already encountered a few audio bugs that caused me have to restart my Xbox.
Multiplayer-1
One game mode, 2 maps, 5 guns, bullet detection isnt good. Why even put it in the game?
Overall-8
For $40 this game is great and a ton of fun and well worth the price.

I will say that I was underwhelmed by the original Sniper: Ghost Warrior, but wanted to give the second a try. I do think that Ghost Warrior 2 is an improvement, but a minor improvement. The game is fun and enjoyable, if not a little short. Graphics will not blow you away, but are decent enough. It is a truly average game. The HUGE plusses are that it is only $39.99 and my preorder INCLUDED a physical copy of the first game. Not a bad deal at all. I did enjoy it more than Sniper Elite V2, which is a similar game.

I'll make this simple, if you enjoyed the first game, there is nothing that will stop you from liking this game. If you are new to the party, it is an average game, but a good value for an average game.

I just finished the game for the second time. What a fun game. If sniping is your thing, this is the game to get. It takes a couple hours to complete the game, situations are varied with many challenges. Graphics are fantastic. Difficulty level can go from very easy to having to calculate distance, wind velocity and Coriolis effect to land the shot.
The storyline is OK, yet I feel it adds a bit to the game. It's somewhat addictive. I am thinking about starting the game one more time, at a higher difficulty level. Recommended!

I did like it, although it was much more in depth than the 1st one. I enjoyed the simplicity of the first one and it made me feel like i was playing an arcade game. I also enjoyed the stats at the end of each level on the first game. This one, the graphics were awesome, but what could you expect with Cry Engine 3.... All in all.. Good game.

シングル、マルチ共に一通り遊びましたがマルチはスコア制限が無く時間制限の
15分間をただひたすら相手を探す→撃つ→隠れるの作業ゲーと化しており、個人的には
最初の1マッチ以降は面白みが感じられませんでした。マップ数も二つのみ(DLCで増える可能性も)
となっていて基本的なマップ構造も一緒なので(左右対称、マップの中央に橋が架けてあり、敵陣地側にいく場合は
そこを通る意外に道が無い)すぐに飽きが来ます。シングルについては発売前から「今作はcry engine3を採用」
と謳っていただけありコンシューマーでもグラフィックは中々綺麗ですが、同じエンジンを採用しているcrysis3と比べて
ジャギーやテクスチャの荒さが多々見受けられ、ストーリーについても内容自体は臭いB級アクション映画そのもので
工夫も無ければ盛り上がる事も無いですwミッションの合間に抽入される酷い出来のプリレンダムービーもそれに
拍車を掛けており「これが本当に2013年にリリースされたゲームなの？」と疑いたくなります。
よほど本作に思い入れがあるのでなければ購入は控えてください。
