The concept of this game is absolutely amazing. You can be highly creative and make your character into a masterpiece. Or, you can draw a stick figure. It's all up to the player. You do have to collect different colors and different parts, however. Once you advance in the game you can unlock different parts, like arms, wings, etc. You also unlock different colors.
You move through the 3D world using your characters through various obstacles and challenges. It's close to many gamecube games in play style and 3D worlds with different levels. If you ever wanted to see your art in action, this game is great.
I had tons of fun in this game with friends and family. We would see who could draw the best thing. We would see who could make the most stupidest looking thing, etc. Your character also fights other enemies. You can make multiple characters.
I bought this in 2012, for $48, it looks like the price is nearly $70 now. This is due to PS2 being and older system now. If you don't mind the price, it's still a fun game, especially if you love drawing and being creative. I bought it new because I'm always worried about there being scratches on 'used' games.
If you're unsure, look up some of the amazing art made by some people on this game. I was convinced into buying it after seeing some videos of people playing it, and playing it at a friends house.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Horribly scratched up; but I buffed it out, and it seems to be working so far. I wouldn't recommend seller to any of my friends. No cover or instruction booklet either, only a printed out title, and a hardcase.

This game has cheap VA.(I could bet my life that it's the same person talking to themselves over and over again, extremely unlikable Characters. (Prince Pixel doesn't seem to care about anything, even saving the world or his parents Who are just as apathetic if not more. Can't really blame the kid after seeing them) a plot that a two year old could've created and worlds that look like a giant rainbow barfed all over them while it was playing Super-Mario brothers but MAN IS IT FUN!!! You get to create your own characters! FROM SCRATCH Shapes, colors, functions, voices and all. It's hours of endless fun and simple to use with easily accessible tutorials.(I got this for about eleven bucks without the case or instructions) Just be prepared for the backlash should anyone ever see what you create. I'm certain the vast majority of the players aren't Picasso but when people see you making characters for this game they can be brutally honest. So far I've created a twisty legged space chicken with a spinning afro, captured and changed one of the games creations into a creepy looking mime with a dangerous right hook and an alligator with a pair of maces for hands. It was just as I was finishing my latest manifestation of awesomeness that my younger sibling walked in and I got" Ew what's wrong with it" in about a thousand different words. Amazon is charging way too much for it but for eleven bucks this was and is a great game. Plotwise it's just a drawing named "The Devil" whom our apathetic protagonist is responsible for bringing back into existence after God sealed it away. Not much to go on storywise but I recommend it.

The disc had some scratches well too deep to play properly; it only played well until about the 4th cutscene. The skipping interrupts right out of nowhere and even if you can manage to skip past the scene, this particular copy will freeze up after any moderate period of time creating your creatures, which isn't difficult considering the sheer amount of detail you can add.
I wouldn't call it "Acceptable" to lose an hour or more of fine detailing on a character you lovingly crafted if the game freezes indefinitely before you can name and save it, only to make you restart from scratch, not to mention the loss of story progress if you didn't save before making the creature. Don't get me wrong, the story and acting is lukewarm for the most part, but if you can't get through the story, you can't unlock all the features for creation, an absolute necessity. I'll obstain from purchasing "Acceptable" condition copies of older games from Amazon here-in, in hopes to avoid this wasteful venture moving forward.

Anyone who still has a working Playstation 2 system should at least try this game. Whether you can or can't draw, there is something amazing about making something, seeing it come to life, and being able to control the ways in which it can attack and move. Unlike the turn-based predecessor, The Magic Pengel, Graffiti Kingdom forgoes the turn-based rock-paper-scissors method of beating enemies, in favor of real-time overworld combat. While there are still improvements that could be made to the aspect of designing creatures, you can find many insanely impressive examples of the amazing creatures people can make on Youtube. I have seen Pokemon, Miku Hatsune, various anime characters, video game robots, and even Gundams and Transformers made by people in this game.
The story of the game isn't particularly grand, and most of the game in left up to you leveling, and finding new attacks to add to your growing arsenal. But you will easily find yourself spending hours creating, coloring, and adapting your creatures, and getting better at it all the time. In short, if you can afford it, and if you still have a PS2, this game is definitely worth getting.

This is an amazing game and would highly recommend to young aspiring modelers/artists/dreamers
But it is a product of its time so you might have to have a soft spot for the PS2 era like me
Also the game and case were in perfect condition!

I had this game years ago, and loved the heck out of it! And I regret selling my copy every day. I plan on using this new copy to try and make some of my cat characters in there (they have weapons with the same elemental powers you can get in the game)

Graffiti Kingdom + Draw = 3D = Playable
Reviewed in Canada on March 13, 2012
There's nothing I like better than a game where you can customize things: players, levels, etc. Graffiti Kingdom allows you to make anything you can draw, and that's AWESOME. You can even make you creations jump, act and speak differently, it's pretty in-depth. AND you can change characters on the fly, so you're not stuck with one creation for the whole game.
That being said, some titles like this can suffer from a week (actual) game. By that, I mean, the game sucks, and making a character for a game you don't like to play is kinda pointless. The story mode in this game is a little week and poorly acted, yet somehow I find it okay, almost stylized (ie. it's supposed to be that way?). I owned it, sold it because I had gotten a little bored with the story mode, and bought it again. I regretted getting rid of my creations, and was willing to take the hit (cash) to get it back.
