Pros- seems sturdy, comes with extra applicators.

Cons- hard to comfortably reach some areas (especially of lower back) due to length/angle of handle.

Tips- I wrap the applicator part with Glad Press 'N Seal then just throw it away after each use.

I experimented by standing in front of a mirror & paying attention to where I could get the applicator to make the most contact flat with my skin without affecting the ability to apply pressure. For me, what works is putting the cream in a flat stripe on the side of the applicator, but only on the top half. But I am using it to put a fairly thick pain rub on in specific spots. For a thinner lotion to be applied all over this method may not work as well.

It's not great but having looked at numerous others, I believe it's as good as any of them.

After getting a bad sunburn on my back on vacation and then needing to apply moisturizer to my back, I started looking into products to help with self application of sunscreen and lotions. I was a bit skeptic that this would work, but turns out, it’s awesome! The sponge pads dont absorb lotion and the unit is study enough so you can apply enough pressure to get it rubbed in! I have never been able to apply body lotion to my own back before and now I can. Awesome!
