I have been using Alastin for a year, and it's a decent product, went back to buy it again and it almost tripled in price!!!! It's definitely not worth even the original price, so I thought I'd try this product, and it's actually better than I could have imagined! This product leaves a beautiful dewy look. And the ingredients are actually good for your skin!! Tint is light, and adapted to my own skin color, but do not expect it to act as a foundation, just a tinted moisturizer. Perfect for everyday wear. Highly recommend you not waste your money on more expensive brands. This brand is top notch

I have been obsessed with sunscreen lately. I have acne prone skin so I was look for a tinted mineral one. I was looking for something less fluid than the lrp tinted one bcs it stained some clothes while I was applying it. I tried cotz prime and protect, and while it’s very nice, it doesn’t work the best with my powder foundation (it’s fantastic though, just not for me— i bet it looks great under liquid foundation). I also tried cerave tinted and I love that one for daily wear. This one though is so pretty. It’s almost like a mousse and looks like skin. It’s too soon to tell if the scent will be a problem in terms of causing sensitivity, but it is annoyingly strong. I can't imagine why they would have gone with lavender, much less such a strong chemical lavender.

I've used this for a few years now and love it. It's a great way to have some light coverage with added sun protection for day to day use! I am a white woman with medium/medium tan skin which works well with this tint. I don't have any issues with the product flaking on my face, which as been an issue for me with other brands!

Here's the thing, it doesn't have multiple color options so, if you're not the right shade, you're stuck. I feel like that's a bit of a disservice when dealing with a product that is supposed to apply color to the face and match your skintone. Like foundation or concealer, if your going to put out a skintone focused product, there should be enough range to cover many different skintones. There's one shade. That's it. And even on me, a paler girl, it's a bit too yellow and I have to work with it for it to be unnoticeable. The color reminds me of back in the day, when the only undertone to exist in affordable makeup was an unflattering yellow. The bane of my cool toned existence, lol.

HOWEVER, I don't even know if there's ACTUALLY a tint! Like, yes there's a color when I first apply, but it's like the pigment literally disappears after your rub it into your face. I've even wiped my hands on my dark grey sleep shirt after applying and it didn't leave color on my shirt? Why wouldn't it do that when it's supposed to be a tinted product? Shouldn't it leave color behind if I wiped it off my hands and onto my shirt? How can a product be "invisible" and tinted at the same time?

I mean, if it was meant to go on tinted and then turn clear to "match" your skintone, I feel like that kinda defeats the purpose of a tinted product. I don't understand how this product can 'effortlessly blend into all skintones' with only one color.

Also, it does have a sunscreen smell. Personally, I don't mind it, but I know there are people who don't want a smell with their sunscreen or facial products in general.

All the negatives aside, if your the right shade and you don't mind the smell, then it's a nice tinted sunscreen and I feel like it does protect from the sun. There's just too many other variables that make me not so happy with the product. If there was a better shade range and the tint actually stayed, I might like it more.
