I'm 5'11" and 225# but I've never experinced this problem with an office chair in 50 years.I love everything about this chair and will not return it. Almost everything. The front arm supports cut into my legs unless I lash my knees together or sit forward on the edge of the seat. I'll see if the pool noodle helps!I really think I will have to remove the arms. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

I ordered two of this for my office and both of them defective when I was trying to screw, The hole was broken and I wasn’t able to screw. Both of them was like that. I Amazon to have a replacement and they said the replacement are not available and you have to return it to the UPS store fully packed.
I even told Amazon, Customer Service they are half installed and I spent two hours to do that but they said that’s the only way you can return and get your refund. This is very unfortunate.

I like it, but I’m also one of those people who sets their drivers seat at almost 90 degrees. The chair is sturdy and rigid and that, to me, is comfortable. It is well manufactured in seemingly quality materials. I wonder how the faux leather will hold up, but it looks and feels great now. And the color is a slightly red leather, very brick-ish. My only complaint is that one of the arms has a slight flaw on a front edge, a sharp extrusion. And I mean sharp as in it may open skin one day with the force of a fall. I know I can file it to a safe edge but that may mar the shiny chrome finish. But it shouldn’t be there.

Update - after almost a year of using this I can add a few thoughts. It could stand more seat padding and I wish it would raise even higher. I’m 55 and 5’ 10” and am developing a sore hip from spending too much time in the chair, but that probably wouldn’t be if I had a few more inches to stretch my ankles and arches. Of course, the latter fault keeps me standing more at my standing desk. Otherwise, I still like it.
