The Gold Standard
It started eight years ago with a dream that brush-on color could last up to 21 days. From that dream, Gelish, the first brush-on soak-off gel polish was born.
Gelish thrives and grows in an industry that continues to change and evolve and is continually being recognized internationally as a high-quality, go-to brand for professional nail products. It is a top priority to have the highest quality and understand the needs of salons in the industry.
- Gelish Soak-Off Gel Polish applies like polish and cures in a LED lamp in 30 seconds, or 2 minutes in traditional UV lamps.
- Gelish stays on nails for up to 3 weeks with no chipping or peeling, and soaks completely off in only 10 - 15 minutes.
- Note: Due to lighting and computer monitor display settings, the actual color may slightly differ from the pictures.

This is the first time i ever did my own gel nails. It did not come with any step by step instructions, but since i have been getting my nails done for so many years and through research online here is the steps i followed :
1. Clean all the old polish of your nail, cut , file and clean cuticles as desired,
2. take a buffer do slight buff to your nail bed not too much , just a slight to create a slight rough texture so gel polish sits in nicely.
3. (extra step i do before starting the polish) wash hands to make sure all the dust and everything is off before you start. (you want to work in a dust free area)
4. wipe the nails with cleanser provided (use lint free pad, you dont want anything sticking to your gel polish)
5. brush on the Ph bond on your nails make sure you do the whole nail bed and edges
6. apply a thin coat of foundation, clean excess nail polish off from skin and sides, because once cured under the light it will be hard to clean off.
7. (extra step i do) after curing under the light i apply a second thin coat of foundation to give strength to my nails and clean skin and sides & cure under the light
8. apply your desired choice of polish color, you may have to do 2 -3 coats of polish depending on which color you are using. clean skin and sides & cure under the light. Repeat this process of each coats of polish you want to do.
9. apply a thin coat of top sealer, clean skin and sides & cure under the light.
10. (extra step i do) apply second layer of thin coat of top sealer, clean skin and sides & cure under the light.
11. (Important) After curing under the light take a lint free pad , with few drops of cleanser wipe each nail to take off the sticking layer off to bring the shine on.
12. put the nourishing oil around your cuticles and massage it in. Enjoy your new nails! :)
Important: after each step your polish will be sticky so do not touch it, wait till you finish off with your final step the top sealer coat and have cleaned it with a cleanser, the stickiness will be gone after that, and it will be all cured and dry so you can touch it and go about doing your normal day thing without worrying you will spoil it.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I have done a lot of research. I did few mistake in my first attempt . Which using too much of base and top polish. They are very thick and strong once cured under the light, so make sure to apply very thin coats and brush off excess , so you dont get ridges on the side . Also clean clean clean all the skin and sides before curing because they will become very hard and will not be easy to remove.
EDIT 02/22/17
A lo\t of people asked how to remove the gel nail polish.
1. File off the shine (which the top layer) from the nails
2. Soak half of cotton ball with acetone , place it on top of the nail and wrap & secure it with a aluminium foil.
3. I wait for good 30mins. unwrap one nail gently scrape off the gel nail polish. Do not unwrap all at once, do it one at a time.
4. since acetone drys your nails and skin, after taking the gel polish off, put some nourishing oil on the nails and skins and wait for 30mins
5. I usually re do my gel polish next day. to let my nails take in some oil and let it air out so iam not damaging them

1 Artificial Nail Remover Mini
1 Gelish LED Light Mini
1 White Charger
1 Wooden File Mini
1 Orangewood Stick Mini
1 Plastic Pusher
10 Prep Tabs
The directions to use every product is on each bottle and every box except the box the 3 Mini polishes come in and also on Gelish Harmony website. On the On-The-Go LED Light box it states that the LED lamp is preset to cure for 45 seconds I tested it to see if it cured for 45 seconds using my iPhone 8 Plus. Just a warning: the LED Light only works if it stays plugged in!
I will use these products for a month and come back to show pictures and update my review but I really like everything so far.
Cons:
-Doesn't come with instructions. There are some on the box, but it would be nice to have step-by-step instructions instead of having to watch YouTube videos. I just winged it the first time and my nails turned out fine. I will probably watch some videos for next time though.
-I didn't receive the Mini colors listed and I didn't really like the colors it came with. It seems like they swap out the mini polishes with seasonal colors. I received Oh What a Knight! (Rose gold glittery), Give Me Gold (Gold glittery), and One Piece or Two? (Bright Purple)
