About the authors
Summer Donnelly was raised in a rural area miles away from any urban centers. It wasn’t until she went away to college that she realized just how precious Small Town, USA was to her foundation.
Whether a magical universe in New Jersey or a close-knit foster family in North Carolina, Summer is devoted to spreading her love of small town life. The beauty and wealth of rural living is in the details — fresh food at the Farmer’s Market, Friday night football games, and playing in the marching band. Summer knows all towns have popular hang outs and other long-standing local traditions. She wants to pass her love of quiet living to her friends and readers by giving them a peek into the lives and loves of everyday people.
Summer once won an award for “most colorful” Halloween costume at her home town’s annual parade. After reading an article in a woman’s magazine, her mother put her in white tights while wearing a clear plastic bag full of colorful balloons. With a sign etched on her cheek reading “jelly beans 10¢.” As a result, Summer has a deep-seated fear of showing up places in costume.
Old buildings and their history both fascinate and inspire her. When she’s not writing, Summer is glued to watching shows about house renovations. She will moan in pain whenever a host suggests “ripping out those built-ins” and wonders if in twenty years people will complain about the lack of walls in houses.
A life-long reader, Summer quickly graduated from Beverly Cleary books and Trixie Belden Mysteries. She turned to teen romance and then the crazy-sauce covered romance novels of the 1980s that she borrowed from her grandmother’s bookshelf. She has been reading and writing romance from the moment she received her first library card.
She loves to watch 1940s romantic movies, badly sing-a-long to classic 1980s music, and read romance novels in her spare time. Summer believes in soul-mates, happily-ever-afters, and kisses that leave you breathless.
Pull up a seat as she cordially invites you to become a resident in her world.

Building amazing, memorable characters comes first and foremost for me, whether they make me laugh my socks off or bawl my eyes out. I grew up reading all genres, from the classics to romance, mystery, fantasy and thriller. I believe in the joy and wonder of tropes, though my mission is to turn them all on their head.
I wish I were funnier and smarter, because everything in life can be examined from a different angle, and once I've made a connection with my reader, that's what really drives me.

Stacey Nelson is a delightful author of several books, happily married, and a busy mother of nine. Most of her early writing was used as a form of entertainment for her children. As her children grew older the stories got longer.
The grandmother plans to write stories until she is 100. It is her hope to witness the spark of imagination in the eyes of all age groups, and to fill shelves with books. She enjoys reading and says old books often call to her from neglected book store shelves.
You can also find Stacey Nelson's stories on Wenebojo.com and is thrilled to be part of making books an immersive experience for people of different abilities.
The normal things to put into a biography are basic. I was born in 1953, live in the Midwest area of the US, and am very happily married. I am blessed with two grown sons of whom I am wildly proud and four grandsons that constantly amaze me, as well as, two daughter-in-laws that are terrifyingly awesome in very different ways. Making sure that the chaos in my household is never minimal, I share a home with four dogs, one current cat (others in process), 14K books, a disastrous garden mess, and more projects than I can ever in this lifetime complete.
Unfortunately, I am not sure what that conveys about me as a person, an author, or even what makes you sure that I am not an advanced form of a robot. OK - the robot would not have a mess in the garden.
Although not new to writing, up to recently I have written highly technical analyses, textbooks, and analytic studies. I have written over 19.4 million words of prose over the years, but my audience has been small by comparison to what this journey involves. Most of my general work has been through university presses and private corporate publishing organizations. The decision to branch out into more public visibility has been a fence on which I have teetered for over a decade, my indecision primarily stemming from the question of whether my writing would be interesting to others. Let's not forget boring. I HATE being boring and, face it, most technical and business analytic writeups are just that.
My recent involvement both as an editor and author with the indie publishing sector has pushed me off of the fence, abruptly and with a great deal of force. My first foray into public authorship centers around a new application of my practical industrial psychology work, as applied to the creative process of writing. The Inanna's Circle Game has started, and the publication of the experiment result signals a new place in my life. More of the game cycles are planned, and each will carry a book with it, as I learn more about the wonderful creative process of writing fiction and the chaotic, energizing people that write.
This does not mean that I will stop my other writing. However, my work on security, cyberbusiness, industrial psychology, integrated operational performance, etc., will now be published for others to read. It is my hope that those children of my mind and effort will be useful and enlightening to others.
And never boring.
I write fiction from my heart. I love to explore the trials and joys of being an outsider. Whether I am writing fantasy or science fiction, I tend to write about those that do not fit into square holes and explore how they interact with society and their world.
My intention is not to write books that fit cleanly into a single or pair of genres. Thus I write in many. While each series has a different focus genre, from magical realism, science fiction, metaphysical fiction to military fiction, they spread out from there. As my interests grow and my readers inspire me to explore more areas of my own and others’ hearts and minds, this list may expand.
I have a somewhat unique view of mythology. This allows me to build in twists and altered versions of standard figures to my interpretations of any mythos. I do this both to surprise my readers and to avoid any dreaded canyon of boredom. I never want readers to be bored when reading my stories, nor do I want to be bored writing them.
I appreciate all of my readers and value their feedback and input. I hope you enjoy my stories and will regard them as an outstretched hand of friendship from me.
Robert Boon likes to spend hours upon hours contemplating the heinous things that humans have done to each other. Then he imagines what the victims must endure through the entire ordeal. It is from here that Robert draws the inspiration for his stories.
I grew up reading historical and contemporary romance novels. Stories and crafts that had to do with women's history were always a favorite. I've tried my hand at everything from tatting to quilting to piecing on a treadle sewing machine. (Did you know there is no forward and reverse on a treadle machine? The direction it sews is based on which way you push the side wheel when you start pumping your feet. That took me a while to figure out.)
When I decided to write fiction, historical romances were the perfect stories for me to tell. They gave me a place to use all that historical trivia I'd gathered over the years.
As a reader, I never liked whimpy heroines. Just because she lived one hundred years ago doesn't mean she can't be strong and courageous. In fact, she often had to be more courageous to overcome the biases of the day.
So I've tried to write stories that I would love to read and I hope that you love reading them too.

The mixture of technology and magic is where my mind and heart live. In today's world, it mixes engineering and creativity. In the worlds of my mind, technology and magic live intertwined. I hope that you will find my stories interesting enough to be frequent visitors to where my heart beats.
