Will they be able to solve the mystery in time? Well written with plenty of action, mystery, and new creatures.

Liked the story....can't really put my finger on what I felt when I read it. The story was full of drama and action. Kept my interest all the way through. Maybe it was too much happening at once or some confusion for me on some points that were not explained until way further in the book.

The plot of the book shows promise, but could have benefited from better dialogue and a better self-image of the female protagonist. The story line is good, and makes it hard to put down. I sacrificed a night's sleep to finish it. I couldn't figure out how the title tied into the story, but it didn't create a negative effect. Book 1 can easily stand on its own, however you will want to see what happens next. I can't wait to finf out.

Free when I purchased this in September 2015. I had not read anything by this author and the blurb sounded interesting.
This book started out with a fair bit of back ground information on the main person Darlene and as the story progressed seemed
to take a different path on the usual stories about werewolves and vampires and all things supernatural.
This is book 1 (219 pages) in a series and there is a sort of resolution/ending at the end of the book.
I found at the end of the book that I really did not care enough about Darlene and her werewolf lover and
the other story lines that were left hanging, to purchase the rest of the books in this series to find out what happens next..

This book delivers, if you enjoy shapeshifters vampire intrigue and romance then this is your book. Darlene leads a quite life after her breakup , she works in a small bookstore that deals in specialist books and spends most evenings in front of the TV with a bowl of ice-cream. Then a rugged good looking guy walks into the book store . Idris is a werewolf looking for his missing alpha. Darlene find him attractive and gets pulled into the mystery of his missing alpha. I won't tell you more as I'd hate to ruin the story for you.
