The Honest Actor’s podcast
I love this podcast, and I hate exercise, so The Honest Actor gets me through what would be a mind numbing session on my elliptical. I work in the theatre, but most of my life in dance; my son is a young actor and I ‘honestly’ think I’ve been able to share some great insights, and better understand both the turning wheels of the industry, and the humble and mercurial imaginations of the lovely actors.
The podcast is always realistic, humorous and informative. THANK YOU
Essential listening for actors and their families.
A podcast that goes behind the figurative curtain into the real lives of actors. Every guest has a story worth hearing and as much as I wish everyone had an easy time in the business and feel a bit bad saying this, it is comforting to learn that even the most successful performers have struggles like I do. Not only do I suggest this for anyone associated with a performance field, but also for the people who have actors in their lives. It can be difficult to truly understand how widespread the difficulties of this field are, and it would certainly help the loved ones of actors to understand exactly how resilient one must be to muddle through.
