pretty good little book to read and re-read when a reminder is needed. although at my age it seems a little useless. I watched a funny show where a girl was old, single and going to go out with a loser and she said does someone needing a lifejacket not take it because it's yellow and they preferred a red? It made me think of dating in the mid 40s. I far from desperate in fact I think I prefer to be single but it seems that I have been doing the things this books says not too. It makes me feel bad that I would come across that way when indeed it is just the way nature works. There is a boy that I ignore, not into and he is offering me the world, helpful, responsive but I get annoyed everytime I see his texts or calls. The boy that I want I show it and he then becomes aloof and ignores my texts. We all want what we can't have so it's pretty sad as I do feel like it is all about playing games and who has time for that. If I was truly "needy and desperate" I would settle and jump after the guy showing interest. Instead, I chase the guy I want. It's stupid to appear needy when all I'm doing is pursuing what I desire. I guess it's time to throw in the towel but I liked the book anyhow. Short and sweet and gets the point across.

But; I do believe women who read this book; ensure to take the tips on how men think, but don’t start questioning who you are and feel you have to do allllll these things to keep a man. You are a beautiful, God made, exquisite, worth woman of love. God deemed you as worth being loved the moment he formed you. You don’t have to try and do all these things to get a man to love you as if you are not worthy enough. If he is a good Godly man, who is high quality as he mentions, mature, and has the right intentions for pursuit; you won’t have to play all these games. If you stay prayerful about this man’s heart and your own heart; you will see who he is as well as see the areas you need to change.
