About this ebook

The moment Brady told his family he was engaged, his fiancée was nowhere to be found.

Six months ago, Brady’s true love, Cassie Arnold, walked into his hometown and his life. Everything was perfect, including their plans for their upcoming wedding—but one night, when he came home, Cassie was gone.

How could she just vanish?

Brady turns to his sheriff brother, Marcus O’Connell, and is stunned by what he discovers. Not only is there no trace of her, but it’s as if she never existed.

As they dig deeper into the days before Cassie vanished, Brady is stunned to learn of a series of mysterious phone calls, and he realizes his bride-to-be and her seemingly perfect smile were hiding dark secrets, including an unsolved murder at her family’s cabin in a hometown he’s never heard of.

Brady soon suspects that to find Cassie, he may also have to figure out what really happened the night of the murder—and why Cassie kept it all a secret.

We are back with the O’Connells of Livingston, MT. A complex family filled with secrets, who overcome obstacles, and have a past. But through it all, the loyalty of the family is what makes them strong. Family means everything to each one of them. Brady is the nineteen year old brother they recently met when their “dead” father reappeared. Brady is starting to feel comfortable with them and has been happy with the girl he met six months ago. The day after he proposes to her, Cassie disappears. Desperate to find answers, his brothers Luke and Marcus, a sheriff, embark on a quest to find answers and Cassie. But the answers lead them to unexpected murder chargers and Cassie’s secrets. Will the O’Connells be able to once again, find justice, or will this time, Brady be left heartbroken? It was an interesting and engaging story. A little different in that it was more about two older siblings standing for their newly found brother, and the rest of the family stayed back in Livingston.
That said, I found the ending a little rushed, but still, it was a very good addition to the series. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Relationships cannot be developed upon lies or things unsaid because sooner or later those stories will come biting you. Love is important but is not enough when society starts asking questions. The strong pull of family ties also are one of the most important and stabilizing issues when difficult times come upon us and in this story, it´s no different. A fast-paced story with a lot of twists and turns that keep the reader´s attention till the end. Entertaining! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
