He came back
WOW Ms Eckhart did it again! LOVE her books. A great read. So captivating I couldn’t put it down. I love how the guys take care of their wives. It’s lime you’re there with them watching from the side lines.
Couldn’t put it down
Lorhainne is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Again I was not disappointed with this book. I was sucked in within the first few chapters, and then a few tears escaped a couple chapters later. The emotions and relationships the characters have with one another is amazing, whether good or bad. I do like how the when a situation came up the Sean and Annie didn’t overreact but had normal reactions to the situation or person.
A young man gets set for his last tour, but neither him nor his wife could have expected everything to change. Sean can’t get over, or cope, with his issues from the war and in turn Annie, his wife, suffers from this as well. They work to try and make things better but they also have to deal with the problems instead of sweeping it under the rug. This was a great book, I couldn’t put it down!!
He Came Back
I enjoy reading Lorraine’s books. She is one of my favorite authors. This book did take us through a difficult time she and her husband went through after his service to our country. This was very real if any of you knows a vet. Adjustment can be difficult when they return and try to determine what their new normal is together as a family. Very realistic representation.
