Live is fast, fluid software for music creation and performance. Use its timeline-based workflow or improvise without constraints in Live’s Session View. Advanced warping lets you change the tempo and timing of any audio in real time without stopping the music. Record virtual instruments, drum machines, guitars or audio from the real world. Capture MIDI notes after you’ve played them, turning your most spontaneous ideas (and happy accidents) into music.
Live’s effects, instruments, sounds and creative features let you make music only limited by your imagination. Use Live’s native devices as the foundation of sound design or mold and shape a range of carefully curated Packs into something new. Since the software keeps everything in time, Live is also perfect for on-stage improvisation and hands-on play-customize the software to fit your performance, not the other way around. And with Push, Ableton’s instrument built specifically for Live, you get all the functionality of software with the immediacy of hardware.

Perfect. On time. Arrived in perfect packaging. Seller 100% legit. Ableton live 10 is a must if you are a serious musician. If you think you can't get better content and tools and currently don't own ableton, think again. Been making beats and producing for 15 years. Ableton has always been expensive and I always took the cheaper shortcuts. Listen and trust me when I say you are only shorting yourself if you are doing the same... You get what you pay for, pay a premium price, get a premium product. In this case, ableton is superior. Do yourself a favor, swallow hard, don't look at the price, and hit buy. Your fans want professional sound quality. So do you right? Here it is wrapped in plastic and waiting for you to be the best you can be. Thanks!

I spent $500 on Live 5 when it first came out. It was fantastic but a few years later my 25 character pass code somehow magically became invalid. I contacted Abelton about this and they told me the pass code belongs to someone else. They even gave me their username ("bass4") I sent them a photograph of the product with the box, materials, and the receipt, stating, it had never left my possession. How was it possible that someone could access my 25 character, convoluted pass code?? It had to be an inside job. It was infuriating. They would not do anything to resolve the problem. Buy at your own risk.
Had a different DAW in mind when a worker at Guitar Center talked me into Ableton. No regrets on this purchase. Still learning my way around but from what I see this will cover any style of music I ever want to record and then some.
I've been playing music for years but only recently have I gotten into recording music. I started off with Garage Band which I think is an excellent starting point if you've already got a Mac. When I wanted to get more in to looping and making live music I jumped into Ableton Live. Once you're fimilar with a DAW, Ableton is super easy to pickup and it makes your life so much easier when you're settled into it. I use session view for making backing tracks while I practice my guitar riffs and solos and then move on to arrangement view for a full fledged song production. Ableton is the only DAW I've used that lets me jot ideas for different riffs down over the same beat and rapidly switch between them. The fact I can easily pick and choose my recorded riffs to move to arrangement view is just icing on the cake. I will say for a beginner, the Intro version is plenty and the suite version is too much for me. If I feel like I'm missing something there are always 3rd party plugins and instruments I can use to expand my sound.
