Outdated OLDER version hardware, not a v2.
I am basing my opinion on the current situation. Just order all new parts for a new system build. Debating between whether or not I need liquid cooling, decided that was not needed. So after checking many reviews I settled on the GAMMAXXv2 for an Intel Core i5 10400f build. Checking the company website to confirm that cooler fits on the LGA1200 socket and will be able to clear memory channels, I am in, OK.I pull the parts to start the install and at first notice, no manual, but rather this super small image printed on the inside flap of the packaging. Good thing I already had downloaded the instructions from website.I open the accessories box to start mounting the parts to the motherboard, STOP!!!I received old version hardware with the plastic twist-push Intel OEM pins and not the back plate supported through pins.At this point my build is dead, full stop until either I get the corrected hardware or different cooler. If the town I live in had an actual computer store I can go to, easy fix.Yes, I can use the older version hardware, maybe. But, that is not what I paid for. Will update review if/when issue is resolved.UPDATE 04/10/21---Amazon was quick to rectify the delivery problem with sending out the corrected v2 version of this cooler. Even though DeepCool originally designed the cooler with the plastic twist clips, I would never place the weight and stress of this cooler against the pcb board. With that said, the corrected version has great mounting hardware and the cooler works beyond expected. I do not overclock but I also know from experience the turbo prop sound coming from a stock Intel fan is annoying.***1 star deduction remains due to having duplicate products.

I have a Ryzen 5 2400G in a B450 Aorus M (AM4) MB. I originally used the stock cooler but temps were pretty high under load. The Gammaxx 200T does out perform the stock cooler. The build quality isn't as good but the tubular design is better at getting rid of heat. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't have any problem putting the new cooler in. It fit like it belonged there, without having to use brute force to clip it in.

I give 5 stars because it wasn't difficult to install, it does work better than the stock cooler, and it didn't cost much.

Speculating on why some have had problems using with an AM4 board. My board had 2 brackets screwed into a back plate for clipping on a cooler, which I removed since the stock cooler didn't come with clips. I mounted the stock cooler directly into the back plate. To get the Gammaxx 200T in I had to pull the MB out and put the mounting brackets back on, screwing them into the back plate as they were originally. Then it clipped onto the brackets with no problem at all.

Update : When idle my PC is 5C cooler with the Gammaxx 200T than with the stock cooler., 28C vs 33C. Average load runs in the high 30's to low 40's, was in high 40's to low 50's before. Stress test doesn't go above 65C, was reaching max with the stock cooler. This cooler works exceptionally well, and isn't so large as to cramp my Micro ATX case

    cheap
works great on CPU's 65 watts or under (can take more with a fan upgrade)
better mounting set up then coolermaster with the 212 cooler
lights look nice and it glows well with the fan blades being white
stock fan is quite and seems well made
heat sink is well made and metal is not flimsy, cooper pad was milled well
    CONs
stock fan runs at 1600RPM and will struggle in a case that does not have good inflow
included thermal paste works great but comes in a little packet like it was ketchup
uses thin metal bars to hold on fan that must be fitted in side tiny metal fines on the cooler to seat right and hold the fan on without rattle but when you get it in the right spot holds well

long story short i have built countless PC's over the last 15 years....have always loved things like the coolermaster 212 cooler as it was great value for money when you could buy them for around 20 dollars....now that CPU cooler is 35 and the fans are garbage....this is a great CPU cooler only let down by its fan spinning at 1600RPM....if this was a 2000RPM fan it would be the best thing you could buy for under 40 bucks making it a value leader BUT as it stands now in a stock set up its middle of the road....

conclusion....buy this IF you already have a 2000 RPM fan to put on it OR are using a CPU under 65 watts....what really sucks is i would love to find a 5 pack of these fans for the case but i will still put a higher RPM fan on this cooler....have tested this on a AMD 3400G, 3600, my personal 3700X and last a old 4690k overclocked to 4.2ghz....first 2 stock fan is fine....last 2 stock fan will leave you with high temps under full load....BUT changing the fan will fix it....its really a solid cooler only limited by its fan

I saw this cooler in a dawid video and I was amazed at the temperature and quietness. I got one myself. It comes with one plastic mount and can be adjusted for a different bracket by turning the circle. The fins are very thin, I have bent the top fin in the middle slightly while trying to mount. The fan is very silient and has a good temperature. The worse part was the mounting. Unfortunately my z87i has a vertical part in front of the CPU and I could not install it to push air torwards the exhaust. It would only mount pulling air in, although I should be able to fix it by putting the fan on the otherside. Taking off the cooler is a bit tricky so for the side that is the adjustable one you must push torwards the back down and torwards you. Pretty decent and silient, good for the price edit: can't put the fan on backwards, probably not a lot of people have this problem but it would be nice if deepcool fixed it

Great cooler. I have a i5 9400f and have been using the stock Intel cooler that came with it, my temps were 40-50 C idle but would ramp up to 85 and even reach 90-91 C when playing games or doing CPU heavy tasks. Once I mounted this and checked my temps my initial reaction was "oh, okay". My new idle temps we mid 30 C so not much of a drop BUT then I played some cpu demanding games for a couple hours and never saw my temps rise above 60 C. An almost 30 degree difference. Incredible. I never knew the stock Intel cooler was that bad. So happy I switched, and just an amazing cooler. Your expericnes may vary, but if the cooler works it will help keep your temps at a reasonable level and will most of the time be better than most stock coolers for both AMD and Intel.

One note, I didn't take a star off because it wasn't directly related to the cooler itself but rather the packing. I got the cooler and had intended to mount it without taking out the motherboard, but when I looked over the instructions I discovered that I was missing the pieces to do it that way. Since I didn't want to deal with the horrible temps for even a few more days I decided to not return it and just take apart my PC to attach it with the backplate. It's probay more star this way, the cooler is a little heavy so not mad that I did it the way I did, though disappointed the other pieces were not included in the box. My box was also beaten pretty badly but the product itself seems and runs undamaged. Just thought that might be useful. Always take pictures of any damage you see, especially water damage before opening or doing anything further with your items. Mine runs perfect so I am very happy. Note, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between this V2 and the V1. Mainly this one (V2) seems to have bothohnting methods for Intel while the V1 only have the backplate method for both Intel and AMD. If you can find the V1 for cheaper do it, you'll see the same performance. I bought this one without any deal or sale so I spent a bit more but since it was urgent it was worth it for me. If you can wait and can't find the V1 for cheaper this V2 supposedly does go on sale a bit, usually $5-$10 so that would definitely be a deal worth jumping on.

It is the first time I mount a CPU cooler that is different than the one that comes with the CPU. I used it for my old FX-xxxx AMD3 CPU. It greatly diminished the noise from the CPU fan and even more reduced the temperature of the CPU. I had to do this earlier. For the price, it did a great job for me. I followed the instructions that you can find online and the process was quite easy and straight forward.

5.0 out of 5 stars Um cooler de CPU com custo acessível e excelente funcionamento!
