The fact that it uses simple AA batteries and you can use rechargeable ones, makes life a lot easier to swap them when they are low or get damaged. My PS3's built in batteries are dead, they won't turn on or charge, my PS4s don't last more than 4 hours and after that I need to plug them and play with the cable in the middle, and probably in a couple of years they will be dead as my PS3s. I prefer easy removable batteries for this reason and because I can get AA rechargeable batteries with more capacity than built-in ones. Overall, you will get the best experience using Xbox controllers, and in some specific cases, the Steam one.
In essence, the best controller's most noticeable and, in my opinion, only significant shortcoming has been fixed.
Happy gaming :).

No sticky buttons, triggers provide haptic vibration feedback, and there is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom that you can use for chat OR to listen to the game through (compatible with all head/earphones).
I picked it up for a great price and am very pleased!
