I've had this mouse for over four months now. I used to play a lot of games in general, especially League of Legends. It was so light compared to my old mouse, and that was fantastic. The response has always been fast, and the ability to switch between different DPI levels is great. I'll admit that I didn't realize what that DPI button was for until about a week ago. I would drop or hit my mouse (presumably hitting that button) by accident, and wonder why my cursor was now moving so slowly. It led to my in-game doom too many times, but that was my own fault. I'm a noob.
The wire's stiffness is annoying sometimes, but it's manageable. I noticed that the price is almost $6 higher than when I bought it at $16.99. I'd still recommend this mouse. If you need the extra buttons on your mouse for some MMORPGs, maybe look somewhere else. Otherwise, this mouse is great. I got to platinum in League with it, after all. :)
No prediction, no acceleration. Flawless tracking. Absolutely flawless. I cannot find fault with the sensor even for lowest sensitivity players. The shape has always been awesome and the weight just feels balanced. I was going to take the 15gram weight out of it but decided against it as it felt perfect.
Overall the quality of the mouse is solid and the mouse skates are teflon. The only complaint I have is the cord seems cheesy and rigid but in terms of performance how can anyone not give this mouse a 5/5? This is my new fps mouse out of literally 50+ mice and I'm the toughest critic and never settle for less.
The good: If you're looking for a basic mouse with a basic shape at a fair price, this is a great option. Ambidextrous/symmetric design, left and right button, clickable scroll wheel, and a DPI button that changes the sensitivity between three settings. The DPI button is probably more for gaming, but I also occasionally found it useful for photo editing. It performed well and felt great until...
The bad: This might be just a problem with my particular mouse, but a few weeks ago I noticed the left mouse button became unreliable. I thought it was just me at first, but it has been slowly getting worse. I confirmed the driver is updated, used a different mouse on my PC, and used this mouse on a different PC to confirm there is an issue with the actual mouse. It advertises a 20 million click left/right button lifespan, but I do not believe I have come close to that number with my relatively light use.
Overall it's a great basic mouse, and my issue might be a one off. It's very fairly priced, and I guess it did last almost three years. That said, other reviews seem to suggest similar issues, and mice I have used lasted much longer without an issue so I was a bit surprised to encounter a problem this quickly.
-Excellent tracking, no prediction (Acceleration, angle snapping) or jitter
-Amazing ergonomics for fingertip grip (I'm 6'2" and have relatively large hands)
-Lightweight
-Can have 1-5 different customizable DPI steps, anywhere from 250 to 2500 DPI (250 DPI increments). For example, if you only use one DPI step then you can disable all the rest.
-No unnecessary extra buttons
-Scroll wheel feels great
-Logitech has excellent customer service unlike many other companies
-Incredibly high value at this new price point (I initially purchased it for significantly more)
Cons
-Clicks don't feel as crispy as other mice I've owned (But they're not bad by any means)
-Only 500 Hz polling rate (Still more than enough)
-Stiff cable (Doesn't really matter)
-Not a huge fan of the graphics (Doesn't really matter)
-No customizable LED accents to match my other gear (Doesn't matter whatsoever)
Bottom Line
This mouse went from good to great at it's new price point. It's comfortable, the tracking is perfect and it's light and agile. Logitech's customer service is second to none. The new mouse I had RMA'd has been working very well.
***Update 7-26-13***
I've had the mouse for about 4 months now and everything I've said previously still stands. However, I had to subtract a star for an issue I'm having. About 1 in 3-4 clicks won't register if I click closer to the body of the mouse. You need to make sure your fingers are near the scroll wheel. I'm not too disappointed because I know Logitech will replace it instantly if I ask.
***Update 8-7-13***
Alright now the click problem has matured. Sometimes clicks register as double clicks, and sometimes they don't register at all. The fate of this review will now lie with Logitech's customer service. Will update again after.
***Update 1-5-14***
I forgot to update this after my warranty claim. Logitech swiftly sent me out a replacement without even making me ship them my old one. I must have just got a lemon before because this new one has been excellent.

The 100S is supposed to be a great gaming mouse. Had one for two years and still works like new.
