Ultra High Definition on a Widescreen

With AOC’s AG271UG, you can enjoy Ultra HD at an astounding 3840 x 2160 resolution. With Ultra HD, you get four times the resolution of Full HD; essentially you can fit four Full HD videos on the screen at the same time. An Ultra HD on a 27-inch widescreen allows you to view greater detail with more spacing, in crisp and vivid visuals. Whether gaming, editing photos, videos, or watching movies, AG271UG gives you clarity with quality on a widescreen.

IPS Panel for Wide Viewing Angles

IPS panels give 178/178 degree viewing angles while maintaining consistent image quality and colors from all viewing positions. IPS panels have true 8-bit color depth that results in incredible color accuracy. The screen itself has a matte anti-glare coating that won't leave fingerprints or smudges. IPS is perfect for graphic designing, video editing, photo retouching, among others. You can also view your spreadsheets or weekend movies from virtually any angle without compromising color uniformity.

Multimedia Connections and Features

AG271UG features Display Port 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 connections, with additional 4 USB 3.0 (1 x fast-charging port). For your audio needs, this monitor comes with two 2-watt speakers and an audio line-in/headphone out. Enjoy fast-moving action and dramatic transitions without the annoying effects of ghosting, thanks to the smooth rendering. For gamers, it is important to have the best visibility especially for the dark areas on screen.

AOC Shadow Control

For gamers, it is important to have the best visibility especially for the dark areas on screen. With AOC’s Shadow Control, gamers can dial-in shadow levels in the On-Screen Display menu to increase contrast for better dark areas without affecting the rest of the screen. AG241QG offers 3 levels to adjust the dark portions.

NVIDIA G-SYNC Technology

A NVIDIA G-SYNC is the revolutionary solution that synchronizes the display’s refresh rates to the GPU in your GeForce GTX-powered PC to eliminate screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag, in order to provide the smoothest, fastest, and visually stunning gaming experience to date. What you get is fluid and responsive gameplay, with objects looking sharper, scenes appearing instantly and more vibrant in visual quality than on any other monitors, so you can enjoy the latest games to the fullest. NVIDIA G-SYNC delivers the smoothest and fastest gaming experience with a serious competitive edge.

    Great 4K, Great Price
I built a gaming PC last May (GTX1080, 7700 processor, etc) and originally bought an LG ultrawide monitor. I was really new to all this and did a fair amount of research on PC components, but when it came to the monitor, I think I was so tired of research and didn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money. The LG ultrawide is cool, but it “stretches” some games, isn’t really supported by others, and definitely wasn’t taking advantage of my PC internals. I decided to shop around for some 4K monitors, and use the LG for music production. I was first looking at a Predator, but didn’t feel comfortable spending almost $700 when basically every other review was bashing their horrible QC problems. I found the AOC AGON AG271UG and it was right in the price range I wanted and had decent reviews. I was stuck between this being only 60hz or upgrading to a 144hz, but I don’t really play competitively so thought the extra cost may be unnessecary for my needs.I bought the AG271UG 27inch monitor with Prime and two days later it was at my door. Took it out, hooked it all up and started it up. I noticed split right down the screen, the left half of the monitor was red (picture 1) and could be seen when on the desktop (picture 2). I fiddled with the settings but didn’t help. It was very odd, it would cause blacks to be reds, but it was transparent so when I had Google Chrome open it would only show through the blacks. I restarted the monitor and it seemed to correct, but came back shortly after.I looked online and didn’t see any info about the problem. I’ll be honest, I was bummed because I read so many monitor reviews about garbage QC issues and knew I received a lemon. I contacted Amazon Support and sent it back the next day (super easy process). I debated about ordering the same monitor or if that was a “sign” to get something else. I decided to order it again and it was delivered the next day, super insanely fast shipping. I have been using it for two days and doesn’t seem to have any bleed, dead pixels, or any issues (picture 3).I’m still messing with the color settings, but I really like this monitor. 27 inch is the perfect size and I love how easy it is to adjust the viewing angle and height of the monitor. Using 4K mods in Fallout 4 and playing Divinity: Original Sin II, I can see all the colors really pop and see the difference from my old monitor. I also checked out some 4K videos on YouTube and they look spectacular. I’m also using the G-Sync since I have the Nvidia gtx 1080 and haven’t really had any issues game performance wise. The speakers aren’t that great and the monitor menu could be updated, but those aren’t things to cause too much fuss over.Overall, really happy with this monitor. If you’re looking for an entry 4K monitor and don’t want to break the bank, I would see definitely check this out. Sure it’s only 60hz, but for the price some sacrifices will be made. Sure my first monitor was messed up, but an easy return process and a insanely fast delivery of the second and everything is good! Bring on Far Cry 5!!!
