Consider this the 126 boutique pedals you don't have.

The G5n comes equipped with freshly-developed takes on not only the most-essential guitar sounds like overdrive, distortion, compression, EQ, delay, reverb, flanging, phasing, vibrato, and chorusing, but also unique multi-effects such as Seq Filter, Gold Drive, Reverse Delay, HD Hall, and OSC Echo.

You can connect the G5n directly to a PA system or audio interface, using the 26 onboard amp and cabinet emulators. Choose from 10 classic amp models like the '59 Fender Bassman, Diezel Herbert Channel 2, Marshall JCM800, Fender Twin Reverb, MESA Boogie Mk3, and Bogner Ecstasy Blue Channel and British 30W Class A Combo, newly and faithfully created to be adjusted exactly as you would with the knobs and switches of the real thing.

    Practice up, play out

68 built-in rhythm patterns make the G5n perfect for practice and enable 'one-man band' performances. A two-unit Looper, with dedicated footswitches, lets you record and overdub phrases up to 80 seconds.

    Create your signature sound

    Easy editing

There are four independent editing displays for zeroing in on the perfect sound, each bank providing the responsiveness and hands-on feel of a stompbox.

    Powerful pedals

The G5n's expression pedal gives you smooth real-time control over volume, tone, or selected effects parameters, with four stompbox-style footswitches to kick effects in and out on the fly.

    Complex tonalities

It would take an arsenal of stompboxes, amplifiers, and speakers to duplicate everything you can do with a single G5n. Use up to nine effects and amp/cabinet models simultaneously, chained together in any order you like.

Good for the price. but there are some flaws.

Good for the price. but there are some flaws.
Pretty good sound. Takes some tweaking but the basic sounds do seem quite good for the price very versatile. The only thing I do not like is the lower row of buttons. They are hard to hit accurately and my shoe size is average 10.5. I had to modify the bottom row with some wooden half balls and jb welded them on (see the pic). Helped a lot but not something we should have to do. Without the mod I'm always hitting the wrong switches. That can't happen in a live show as it totally screws me up. The bottom row of buttons are hard to see in the dark. Again the sound is very good in my opinion for the price.

It would be an insult if I say that this is just a value for money product. No, not only it provides great tones at such price point, but also provides a very sturdy design and some great clarity sound. The distortion really shocked me, because I thought it wouldn't give a good distortion tone as the Line6 podhd500x, well it doesn't, but its still pretty much good and also has its own punchiness in the distortion. Its really great for both distortion and clean sounds. And thank zoom that you can even compare a processor worth 20-21k with a podhd500x which is almost worth double than the zoom. I overall loved it and I'm sure, if you can do some tweaking, you might attain the sound of a podhd500x.

This is a wonderful machine. It has got so many features which I am yet to explore as have recieved it just three days back. I play an Yamaha PAC 012. Even with that budget guitar, the sound quality is mesmerizing.
The body is made of metal and is quite robust. I guess it will last for lifetime if handled properly.
Well, I had using zoom g1xon. Compared to that, it is a bit complicated. It's definitely not for the beginner. That's it's only drawback I guess.
Overall a great product and I am innlove with it.
