One thing that stands out about Astria Ascending is the stunning artwork and design. The world of Orcanon is brought to life in vivid detail, with breathtaking landscapes and intricate character designs. It's clear that a lot of care and attention went into creating this world, and it's a joy to explore.
But the game isn't just visually impressive - it also boasts a deep and engaging storyline. You'll take on the role of one of eight demigods, each with their own unique abilities and personalities. As you progress through the game, you'll uncover a complex web of relationships and political intrigue that will keep you hooked until the very end.
Another aspect of Astria Ascending that I appreciate is the turn-based battle system. It's a refreshing change of pace from the more frantic action games that dominate the market, and it allows for a more strategic approach to combat. Plus, with the ability to customize your characters' skills and equipment, there's plenty of room for experimentation and creativity.
Overall, I would highly recommend Astria Ascending for PlayStation 5 to any gamer who's looking for a rich and immersive experience. The stunning artwork, deep storyline, and strategic battle system make it a standout title that's sure to please. So grab your controller and embark on a mythic journey through the world of Orcanon - you won't regret it!
If that is fine with you and you’re all good with exploring and seeing a turn based battle system that is different but still faithful to the turn-based idea then give it a go. But I really felt like it was worth telling people. I really wish I would’ve known what I was getting into before I spent $40. Aside from that..
the story is awful if you could even call it that, it doesn’t make sense and it contradicts itself very often. The voice acting is a complete joke and almost makes you want to cringe or turn off the sound. There are no explanations on what is going on or why it is going on. It feels like someone just got mad about not having a turn based RPG and decided to make the Combat and then say oh shoot what can I do with this.. oh let’s stick it into this unfinished children’s book.
