UNIT FAILED WITHIN 90 DAYS
I was diagnosed with an advanced form, third stage, congestive heart failure. I live with poor heart function circulating blood, making me prime to blackouts from low oxygen. I need to track my vitals every day.I originally selected iHealth because they offer Wi-Fi enabled single app tracking for weight scales, pulse oximeters, wrist and arm cuff blood pressure, activity, temperature and a separate app for blood glucose. They are well built, stylish medical devices that are exceptionally easy to use. To the best of my knowledge, they are quite accurate, although I am truly concerned about durability.Pros:⚖️ Rechargeable internal batteries use a provided micro USB. They do not include a plug for the cord. It charges quickly, and the charge lasts quite some time. I am currently two weeks into a single charge with daily use.⚖️ The unit has a very easily accessed on button.⚖️ This unit does not come with a carrying case, so the lack of any form of hanging peices or parts to lose has helped keep it in good condition.⚖️The function of the pulse oximeter is dependable and accurate. The negative:⚖️ I use this product everyday, several times a day. I needed a medical device "partner" to assist and organize multiple vital signs. The iHealth app that receives data is not as user-friendly as presented. ⚖️ Contacting customer service has been non-responsive.MASSIVE FAILURE: IN LESS THAN 90 DAYS,THE UNIT STOPPED WORKING.OTHER rationale for low rating: the unit is only as good as it's ability to report information. Were this not the case, you could simply purchase a non-Wi-Fi enabled unit for much less. The app leaves MUCH to be desired if you want a single report for multiple devices, ALTHOUGH It will print out a simple listing in CVS, XLS or PDF format to email. It's a simple thing to want to compare and contrast your health information gathered from all units for each day to see if symptoms match up to reoccurring patterns. Anyone who is required to report these vitals to your physician would want this feature: why else buy all of those products? So far, I've submitted to requests 10 days apart requesting software support. I have not received a response from their customer service department. I do wish that I had paid more attention to manufacturers who offer a complete line of Wi-Fi enabled devices that also support those devices with an integrated application.Possible false reading:A word of caution....the pulse oximeter turns on, detects a finger and begins measurements in real time, starting at the baseline reading of 70. That is not your oxygen rating. It requires several seconds to adjust once placed on the finger. You must make sure that you get your fingertip completely inserted per the schematic so that a good reading can be taken. If you have a reading of 70% that is not common for your health (from our users standpoint only, I am not a medical professional) I would recommend that you give the unit a few more seconds to acclimate before panicking. My first experience was somewhat concerning. If you watch the heartbeat monitor, you will watch your actual oxygen saturation level appear. Once it has landed on a reading and stayed there for a few seconds, you're able to remove your finger from the unit to turn it off.

3.0 out of 5 stars Finnicky to get to work and display should be rotated
Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2023
So while this is nicely designed and is asthecitally pleasing thats about where the good stops.

The display is great if youre using the unit on someone else. If you are using it on yourself, the display needs to be reveresed.

Also, this unit is really finicky. You have to fiddle with it to get it to read your PulseOx correctly.

It syncs well and the app is easy to use but getting it to cooperate is frustrating.

Reviewed in France on March 10, 2019
