About this item
- Concentrated Compression Blade (CCB) for high-static pressure of demanding applications such as radiators, the CCB is engineered to focus the inner weaker circle of air outwards, allowing the outer section to pressurize and compress the air
- Wind Blocker Frame: To achieve maximum static pressure in all applications, the frame is designed to work with the CCB to reduces the blade's noise and vibration, creating a perfect balance between power and sound
- Hydraulic Bearing/Low-Noise Design: The hydraulic bearing self-lubricates with a high quality, friction-reducing substance which lowers operating noise and improves efficiency. The Low-Noise Cable can reduce the noise level by 24% from 24.6dBA to 18.7dBA
- Anti-vibration Mounting System: In-mold injection anti-vibration rubber pads provide hassle-free usage for 80% protection coverage, including all four corners
- Inlet and outlet temp. are 49℃ and 44.5℃ in respective, △T= 4.5℃.

-These fans are more or less meant for being case only fans (I'm sure they would function fine as radiators for AIOs but they are still only 3 pin fans)
-They are high static pressure so they are able to punch through a decent amount of filters with little to no issues
With those things out of the way it is time to get into the bulk of my review and into my thoughts about these fans after using them for about 5 or so years. The first thing I noticed about these fans is that at 100% they are decently noisy, but this is fairly unsurprising given their size. However, this is where some of you might be worried to buy them. Don't less this dissuade you from buying these fantastic fans. Even at 80% power these fan pump out an absolutely tremendous amount of air (borderline ridiculous amount) and at 80% they are nearly silent. My solution to the noise was simply taking them from my molex powered fan hub and plugging them into a fan header and the default curve took care of the rest (Brought it down from 100% power and a fair amount of noise to 65% and perfectly silent). Alternatively you can also use the low-noise adapter when plugging it into a hub but you will have to make sure to place it somewhere where heat (55C was what I was seeing with my probe) doesn't have the potential to harm your system. The final thing I would like to comment on is that these fans have very nicely lengthed cables so there is no need for extension cables even on the most large of builds.

Pros-
-Even at 1200 RPM, these fans are quiet.
-The halo lighting around the fan looks 1000x better than the stand LED fans where you can see each of the 4 LED's shinning on the fan blades.
-They provide enough lighting but aren't so bright that they light up your whole room when the lights are off.
-They move a lot of air! and do so rather efficiently.
-Rubber pads around corners means no vibration noises or rattling of anything.
Cons-
-None really, other than the quite cable didn't work but that didn't bother me as the fans aren't loud enough for me to care.

Out of the box, it's like any other Thermaltake fan; pretty, no ridged plastic, and ready to slap in. The LED ring itself is pretty well done in terms of construction quality,
Installation is pretty straight forward, and the rubber on all 4 corners surrounding the screw holes really dispels any fear about damaging the fan while you're irritated that you've taken your system apart for the 4th time to add another novelty.
One thing I love about these fans is the brightness. They aren't eye-blindingly bright, but they're certainly not dim. They're actually quite easy on the eyes, while still illuminating the system fairly well. Plus, they just look awesome whenever you peak through your case. In addition, these things are really quiet. Being an easily distracted musician, hearing a fan whirring while trying to record can be irritated, and I'm happy to report that neither the 120mm or 140mm versions are overbearingly loud.
Overall, I'd highly recommend these fans to anyone looking for a relatively cheap, good-looking fan without compromising quality or cooling ability. I'll likely be picking a few more up for my system at work.
The fan exceeds my expectations. It was very easy to install. The four screw holes contain vibration dampeners, which I find to be a very nice touch. It is remarkably quiet (I have seven fan installed in the tower box) and the air flow is prodigious. The fan’s price was much less than I was thinking I’d have to pay for the quality.
The lighted blue ring is a nice touch, although, since the fan is located on the rear side of the machine, it’s not really that visible. So far I have nothing negative to say about this very well designed Thermaltake fan
Pros:
Good vibrant color
Pushes a ton of air without adapter
Con:
A bit noisy
Let me be clear here, these are still worth the price. The minor problem I have is with the fans is that they are a bit noisy but, you can easily solve that by using the low power adapter they come with; on the other hand you'll be pushing less air with the adapter. They still push slightly more air with the adapter than my old Coolermaster fans.
So far so good they look good, feel good and worth the money. I'll update this review as time goes on.
