I’ve only collected 3 infinity stones which is what I call the upscalers but. Now I only need 1 more which is the mcable gaming edition for the ultimate daisy chain

I bought the Marseille Networks mCable Cinema Edition.I have a 5 year old Vizio M series 70" TV. At the time I bought the TV it was the top of the line that Vizio offered. I love the TV and after 5 years it still looks amazing. But I recently got Dish Network with the Hopper 3. Dish network uses a 1080i signal. (interlaced signal) where as regular 1080p is a progressive signal. What this means is that dish network interlaces there signal so they don't use as much bandwidth. (their cheap and don't want to upgrade there service). So a crappy 1080i signal on an older 1080p 70" screen looks like crap. It looks all fuzzy and muddy and pix-elated. I was actually going to upgrade to a 4K tv because they have better up-scaling than my older TV. But now after adding the mCable it looks like amazing, true 1080p, now I don't need to buy a 4k tv, at least not for a couple years when the technology changes again. To accomplish this with dish network I had to set the Hopper to output 720p because the mCable does not recognize 1080i . Once you set the hopper to 720p you can install the mCable and watch the difference. Its beautiful!!! What a difference this makes, I'm totally happy. Thank you Marseille Networks mCable Cinema Edition now I don't have to buy a new TV....yet.:)

Mr. Marseille (the expensive Hdmi cable) makes no difference in picture quality on a modern 4k tv. He's not compatible with Dolby Vision or current hdmi ports. He would prefer if you didn't know that your current 4k tv and 4k player already have an upscaler built into them. He thinks you need a 3rd one.

After about 2 weeks of use, Marseille will intermediatly malfunction and cause the picture to flicker. Unplug him, plug him in, repeat. This will temporarily solve Marseille's issue and become part of the $100.00 Marseille experience.

If your equipment is about a decade old then you might see a marginal difference in picture quality with Mr. Marseille for about 2 weeks or until he malfunctions.

My advice to someone running a dated setup would be to avoid to unloading $100 on this and upgrade to modern technology.

Would I have considered purchasing this for my Plasma Elite TV over 10 years ago? Meh and maybe. This is a dead and dated technology being sold at a high, premium price.

Oh and he requires his own power source. No big deal but when Marseille is "on" he emits a bright blue light. It's great for lighting up the back of your tv or power outlet area and even comes in handy as a night light. That Marseille does well.

This cable does a good job adding sharpness and detail to softer content. My particular use is to put it as the last step in a chain between a laserdisc player and digital projector. The biggest problem is that there seems to be no way of disabling the sharpening filter, so if I feed a modern HD signal through it, it gets unnatural oversharpening including ringing around high contrast edges. As a result, I have to have two separate cables connected, a standard one for HD/Digital sources, and this cable for SD/Analog ones, and manually switch between them

It works. Period. It gives new life to EVERY DVD and early blu ray you have. Got a flat, listless blu ray from the early -aughts? The mCable gives it immediate life and dimensionality. Waiting for a 4k release of an old blu or a blu release of an old DVD? No need. The results you get running your movie through the mCable are close to what you would have gotten anyways. (Hint: that hated 2010 Goodfellas disc is the way to go when using the mCable. Forget the Sharpie-black 2015 disc and just learn to live with the line through DeNiro's head) For the record, I got mine at less than half price through Amazon Warehouse so there will be people returning these cables because they don't understand them.
My own experience is to just let the cable to the processing, not the console. Do not use this cable through an UHD player, Xbox S or X or anything that has advanced processing already. I have mine hooked up to an upconverting blu ray player but I've turned off most of the processing to let the cable do its thing.

It does work and I do see a difference especially with cable TV. I use it to upscale my 720p cable TV into 1080p and it is noticeable better. Unfortunately a little over a year into purchase wire went bad and started showing artifacts and flickering. Contacted customer service and will report back if my 2 year warranty is honored.

So this the 3rd gen of this mCable. This is not for gamers but rather for video. It's supposed to be a refinement of the previous generations of this cable. What is does is that it has a video processor in the cable that cleans up the picture a bit and helps colors pop a bit more. Yes this is a lot more than just a hdmi cable for sure. It in my experience it won't make 720p or even 1080p on my 4k tv look like native 4k but it does make a different. If you like a really sharp and clear picture like me and have a tv of 70 inch or higher you might if you have the money, want to daisy-chain 2 of them together with a female to female hdmi adapter like I did to really see a noticeable difference on things like your cable box or even your preferred streaming device. Just a reminder though, you need a powered USB port for each cable that you use. The difference is pretty awesome but maybe try just using 1 first as you can always add a 2nd later but it does a good job of cleaning up the compression artifacts and sharpens the picture also all without you doing anything but plugging it in.

Ottimo cavo con un buon upscaler e l'unico con un cervello che funge da anti-alising, quindi per i videogames su vecchie Console come Ps2 e Ps3 funziona perfettamente 👌 Su Ps4 invece la storia è diversa, il 4k funziona ma senza hdr e solo colori non rgb.. A livello di qualità d'immagine, funziona bene, l'upscaling a 1080p dai 480p o i 720p è ottima, sopratutto perché oltre ad upscalare ha l'antialiasing, rendendo l'immagine molto più nitida, dettagliata e definita, unica cosa è che ciò lo fa anche aumentando di un po' la nitidezza, cosa che per i puristi d'immagine era meglio evitare, ma alla fine, se si gioca su console vecchie, un poco di nitidezza aumentata è tollerabile. Poi alza il livello del nero un poco, il che può dare molto fastidio se si ha una tv costosa che rappresenta il nero in modo perfetto anche al buio, io con la mia tv Sony 4K XF90 spendendo un po' di tempo, su Ps3 almeno, ho dovuto abbassare il livello del nero da 50 a 48, così il nero rimane nero totale come dovrebbe essere, mentre 47 ''crashava il nero'' e 49 era leggermente sopra, spero di essere d'aiuto con ciò a chi ha una tv costosa che ha contrasto praticamente infinito.. Non do 4 stelle perché il chip interno non è quello più recente quindi peggiore, ma fa ugualmente un lavoro più che buono, anche perché io l'ho comprato usato qui su Amazon a soli 51€, il problema è che mi è arrivato un Mcable Ultra invece che gaming edition, male, il fatto però è che non si trovano molte informazioni su questo cavo online, è quello che costa meno, eppure sembra fare un lavoro uguale a quello gaming, non so cosa cambia, forse sono basicamente uguali, forse la dicitura ''gaming'' gli garantiva più vendite.. Il cavo hdmi deve essere alimentato tramite usb, quindi se la vostra tv ha un ingresso usb benissimo, mi da fastidio che fa una luce abbastanza forte il cavo usb, al buio da fastidio, spero che con lo sviluppo di questo cavo riescano a migliorare tutto.. Ottimo per retro gaming e per tutti i contenuti 720p e 1080p anche su tv 4k! Mentre su fonti 4k è inutile perché l'anti-aliasing non è applicabile

Ce câble HDMI actif peut réaliser des prouesses sur tout signal progressif, ce qui signifie par contre qu'il ne peut agir en sortie d'une box TV, si elle affiche un signal vidéo entrelacé (1080i). Certaines BOX TV permettent de modifier le signal de sortie; choisir alors de préférence 1080P.

Il sublime aussi un Blu Ray ou un fichier vidéo lu sur un PC; je le considère comme quasi indispensable sur un TV OLED Full HD (1080P), tant il magnifie son image.

Comme mon téléviseur OLED n'est pas 4K, je ne peux donner mon avis sur son usage avec un TV 4K.

Il améliore la colorimétrie, le piqué de l'image, l'effet de profondeur de l'image et la fluidité et il le fait tout en subtilité et naturel. Par contre, il ne peut rien pour un signal vidéo de mauvaise qualité.

Sa puce de traitement image a besoin d'être alimentée pour fonctionner, il suffit pour cela de relier la prise USB de ce câble à une prise USB du téléviseur. Si vous l'utilisez avec une box TV, attention, chaque changement de chaîne occasionne un écran de couleur qui dure bien une seconde; pas adapté aux amateurs de zapping !

Coup de cœur personnel pour ce produit, très simple à utiliser et qui permet de profiter de ses films avec une plus belle qualité d'image.
