Update:6 months in and I'm conflicted. The MX 2S is awesome, works perfectly, a full charge lasts at least 3 months with heavy use, this is a an excellent product. But there's a problem, it's kind of a biggie and you only notice it after living w the mouse: Logitech use a rubberized coating on the palm and thumb rests that gets dirty/sticky and stays that way. Additionally, as well as being's super annoying, you will be constantly trying to keep it clean. It doesn't matter how OCD you are about washing your hands, because the coating doesn't just grab oils/residue but any soap product you might use as well as airborne particles.....so even if you don't use it and the MX is left in the open, the rubberized surface will get tacky. Lots of reviewers have stated the same, the coating grabs everything and I wish Logitech would stop using it or come up with a solution whereby you could swap it out or purchase the mouse with out it. The plastic surfaces themselves look great, feel expensive, don't scratch and stay clean...hence, the rubberized coating isn't necessary.Originally, I gave the MX 2S 5 stars but I dropped it to 3 stars just because of the rubberized coating. Logitech use it on other products but only in moderation, so it's not a problem. Why 3 stars? Well eons ago I had a Logitech Trackman Cordless, one of the best products I've ever used...it also had the rubberized coat and I stopped using it because of the amount of time it took to keep it clean. That's 10yrs ago, Logitech should have fixed the issue by now. So, if you regularly eat sandwiches at ur desk etc., then my review won't matter but if you're like myself: I like to keep my iPhone smear free as well as all electronic devices then this could be a biggie.....Original review:A mouse that combines additional functionality, button customization, reliability and battery life with something that looks good and has a luxury feel.Features: - Charge lasts eons and I use the mouse extensively - Uses both Bluetooth and USB Unifying receiver (I use the USB) - Every button can be customized using 'Logitech options' software. It is super simple and doesn't tax ur system. - Buttons can also be customized by application - Tracks on any surface and movement accuracy is excellent - Hidden button under thumb - Wheels roll smoothly and are accurateExcellent performance all round and it feels great to use.Logitech still make the best pc/mac peripherals by a long shot. Their products last for years, are v reliable and wear really well.

I upgraded from a Logitech G5 on my work machine. I still use a G5 at home for gaming, because the MX Master 2S isn't what I'd use for gaming (I need something lighter and smaller.)

But, I purchased it for my work machine. The goal was a more comfortable, precise mouse with extra functionality.
On the comfort level, I give this mouse 5 stars. My hand and wrist feel absolutely no strain using this mouse, it's easily the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.

On the precision and movement feel, I again give it 5 stars. It's nice and heavy, and the software let me set the acceleration just right so I can very quickly hit any location on the screens I use. I do use 3 screens, one of them 4K, and have zero trouble.

The extra functionality is where I have some issues:
The main buttons are wonderful. Nice click pressure, and large buttons for multiple grip styles.
The scroll wheel is again best of class; the SmartShift feature switching between Ratched and Freespin is absolutely genius, and I use it all the time.
The little extra button on top is also in a great position, very easy to use but not easy to hit accidentally.
However, the back/forward side buttons are a disappointment. I can use the back button after a month of training. I have to point outwards with my thumb so I only hit the back button and not the forward button at the same time. Then, to hit the forward button, I have to point my thumb inwards, which is a very cramped position to put the thumb into. I suffer RSI so this is an issue for me and I can't use that button much. As far as solving this, I would be happier with just having larger back button, and for those who need a forward button, they could use the thumb button for it. I realize that's a tough call to make, there's probably just as many people who are perfectly good with the button setup.
The horizontal scroll wheel is definitely good, thank you Logitech for including a sensitivity setting for that, it makes it very usable as a volume wheel.
The 'thumb button' is nice to have but to me it needs too much pressure to be activated. It's okay.
Overall, I don't feel there are enough issues to take a point off the product rating. They are very minor issues, considering the number of buttons, and an additional wheel that all had to be put within reach.

Battery life of this mouse is really amazing. I've been using it for weeks at work, never switch it off, and I still have 2 out of 3 power bars. Really, really impressive. It also seems that the battery is removable, at least for recycling; it'd be nice to know if in 3-5 years down the line, I can buy a replacement battery because the charge/discharge cycles will deteriorate the battery over time. But I might be worried about nothing, given that the battery discharges so slowly.

The software, so far, has been excellent. Very good remapping options, there's nothing I was looking for that I could not find in the selections. Custom key presses are allowed as well as pre-defined tasks. Per-application settings are great to have. The customization to all the buttons are complete.

Overall, for me the best mouse on the market.

Ok first and foremost at the time of this review I've only been using this mouse for a few hours, and oh man I'm already in love. It feels so nice in the hand, I mostly lay in bed when using my computer due to cramped space in my room so picking it up and moving around is a common motion for me, being able to grab and move my mouse with out accidentally clicking is a god send in of itself but the comfort level that comes with it is wonderful too.
It reads across surfaces with not a single glitch, and I have it connected via Bluetooth at the moment - So far I've not been able to notice any lag, or jitters. The scroll wheel has been especually fun, the click-click-click is smooth, then if you wish it's possible to flick it where the wheel will then break free of this spinning smoothly allowing page upon page of scrolling to be achived with ease. The other small features such as the gesture button/motions, mode button, and forward/back keys have all been very comfortable as well as easy to use, the only thing I can even begin to complain about is that the wheel button doesn't feel quite right to me but take that with a grain of salt, I've only been using the product for a few hours, I feel this will pass given a bit more time.

All in all I love this mouse, I'm going to attach it to all my devices and as I put my computer in sleep mode it'll be going with me to my laptop, and tablet.

This mouse is very well designed in respect to hand position. I had been looking into some of the "handshake" form factors, but they seemed to be a little bit too much of a change in hand position. The Master 2S falls into a great "in-between" design where the hand rests more on the heel pad of the palm and relaxes the tendons at the base of the wrist (mainly on the inside portion of the wrist).

The sensor is fantastic and build quality cannot be beat. This is, by far, the most thoughtfully designed mouse that I have owned. Even the thumbrest acts as a functional button that, by default, alt-tabs through your open windows. I didn't think that I would use the horizontal scroll wheel on the side, but after a little getting used to, I now find it invaluable when working in Excel or SQL. It all just works.

I do game, but I have a dedicated gaming mouse, so I have no real thoughts in that regard.

I really, really like this mouse. I bought the "light grey" version which is closer to white in my opinion.
First off, the mouse is quite ergonomic and feels good to grasp in the hand. I use a palm grip mostly, and I had no discomfort or issues while using the mouse. There is a nice recess for your thumb to rest, and all of the buttons are located in places that do not require extra effort to reach.
The mouse is chock full of buttons and features. Just a disclaimer, in order to maximize the potential of the mouse you will have to download and install Logitech Options. The coolest/most useful features for me were the unlockable scroll wheel (see video if you don't know what i'm talking about), horizontal scroll wheel, and gesture button. Using the software allows you to program the gesture button to do different functions. It allows up to 3 different devices to be paired at any given time, and switching between them is literally as easy as pressing a button. The bluetooth also worked without any issues in my experience.
This thing has one of the longest battery lives I've used on a wireless mouse (granted, I haven't used too many). I've had the mouse for a couple months now, and have only charged it twice. It's absolutely insane. It uses micro USB to charge but I don't blame them for not using USB C when the battery lasts so long.
The "Darkfield" sensor or whatever Logitech is calling it works great on every conceivable surface I've tested. You are able to change the DPI within Logitech options, although I don't know the range. The left and right click are not quiet. They're average for a mouse, but look elsewhere if you're looking for a stealthy mouse that doesn't make any noise.
Gaming is not the best with this mouse, especially for fast paced ones like Rainbow Six Siege. It receives a passing grade, but I do not enjoy gaming with it since it doesn't have great response times.
TLDR: Great mouse that has many useful (not gimmick) features. Would recommend to anybody looking to improve their computer experience.

This is the greatest mouse I have ever owned, and I've been using computers since 1994. And yes I bought the teal and I'm glad I did because it looks rad as hell and no one can steal it. :)

It's comfortable; has a beautiful (as well as practical) super cool hexagon based thumb rest channel that keeps friction on point and is made of a matte plastic that doesn't smooth out/become sweaty after use; it has two different scrolling types, "lots of tactile feedback with haptic clicks" and "super fast rolling thunder whoa man slow down" with no tactile feedback (great for spreadsheets with 1k+ lines!!)

You can use it with Bluetooth instead of the Logitech unifying receiver, also, which was what pushed me to buy it - I have a MBP with 2 USB-C ports and one of them is permanently for the power, so my little USB hub with 3 ports has to be used efficiently and that receiver was an extra port I couldn't lose.

It charges! You plug in a standard micro-USB (included) to the front nose like a little bull ring and it charges over USB. And yes you can use it while it's charging. A++ NO BATTERIES!

Mine is teal because hell yeah teal, and in the 4 days I've been using it I've already committed to using it for life. I didn't think the perfect mouse existed, but here it is.

PS: I had given up on Logitech mice as it seemed even their largest size was still too little for my hand to be comfortable (and I don't have enormo hands, either, but I do have a wide palm and short fingers)

This is the PERFECT SIZE. If it were larger it'd cause strain and smaller wouldn't fit so perfectly. Just a marvelous little thing!

Wrong colour delivered, listing allows blue but you'll get black colour only. Available for 1k cheaper in other listings. Keep looking!

Fits really nice in my hand. Has a nice weight to it, I shake a lot and the weight keeps me steadier than a light mouse. Still getting used to it but the side button that is the same as Right clicking will take getting used to. Mind it's probably programable. Haven't used it for gaming yet but can't wait to play Skyrim with all of these buttons to specify tasks will probably make gaming a lot easier (once I get used to it). I still gave 4 stars for gaming simply because of the button setup. Battery life is more than adequate, I've yet to see the battery drop bellow 2 lights. There aree 3 settings that you can set (I think) for different uses. Haven't tried this yet.
