Put your money towards a better mouse, would prefer a refund tbh
Firstly, images show my mouse with wear and tear after 5 weeks. Damages is mainly to left and right of Corsair logo where your palm rest. Item was received Feb 8th and has been used 166 hours mainly on Last Epoch. This mouse has never been dropped and the materials worn down and have gotten bubbles/holes from just my hands (which aren't very rough). The laser on this is decent and the only redeeming quality of this mouse which is why the rating is even as high as it is. Battery life is subpar at about 20 hours of 10k dpi usage, then requiring a 6 hour or overnight recharge. You will find the default presets are pretty bad as well after you get iCue. Prior to using that program, there are 4 settings where only 1 of which allows you to use the side buttons as functioning Back/Forward keys for web browsers/folders/etc and it's locked at about 3k dpi. You will then be forced to use iCue to change those settings and get higher dpi. These settings will only work while iCue is running, not a huge memory loss but still annoying that mouse will revert back to bad factory settings without it.Overall, at the price I had paid I expected better quality in the materials and battery. Laser once again is decent but still wish I could get a refund having now used it for a month and seeing how it holds up. The money spent for this would be better put towards a g502 or m65 (however I'm now fairly turned off from Corsair so I'll most likely get the 502 instead of the m65 for my next mouse purchase seeing as how I've never been dissatisfied with Logitech's standard mice I've used - g600/502)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent smooth mouse with no issues
Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2022
Awesome mouse! I have had it for 1 year, 6 months and have not had a single issue. Works just like it did on day one so I'm not sure how people are having squeaking issues or clicking problems. Maybe just luck of the draw.

Looks beautiful too with it's RGB and enough programmable buttons for the average gamer and you can make different button maps that you can cycle through via the top button just behind the scroll wheel. Battery lasts a good while and is never an issue for me.

My only gripes are that 1) for my hand it's slightly too small so that when I hold it comfortably my fingers hang off the edge. My hands are absolutely average male size hands (I'm 5'9 and my hands match my body), and 2) I wish it had more sensitivity levels to cycle through (3 levels).

5.0 out of 5 stars Super comfy, pinky doesnt get dragged on table
Reviewed in Canada on June 2, 2020
Decided to go wireless after years of using my old G502 Spectrum. I always hated the fact that my pinky would get dragged on the cloth while using the G502. Hence my main motivation to go for the Dark Core.
Pros:
Super comfy - fits my fat hand great.
PINKY SUPPORT - love the pinky rest, provides good stability without fingers touching table.
Great RGB - Visor effects are pretty cool.
Polling - 2000hz instead of traditional 1000
Decent battery life.
Super smooth aiming
Cons:
Heavier than most mouse.
Sits higher than most mouse and is shorter is length compared to the G502.
Side Grips are textured plastic instead of rubber like the top of the mouse.
No left and right click on mouse wheel.
Left side button is a bit too forward. Hard to use the first button.

This mouse does take some getting used to. It moves different because of the weight but once i got use to it, i love it. I dont mind the extra weight, i think it makes it more stable. Doesnt lift off the table easily.
iCue is a love hate thingy. It can be buggy sometime.

Overall im pretty happy with it and will stick to this mouse until it gives me a reason not to. So far so good :)
