One Stop Backup and Charge for Apple Lightening Devices

This SanDisk64GB iXpand Base is a really easy to use one stop method for automatically backing up your Apple device (all Apple lightening iPhones and iPads) at the same time as your regular charge. This will also back up your connected cloud storage as well. The little pad has a textured rubbery surface and non-skid strip around the base, so your device has a place to rest w/o sliding about. The micro-USB powercord has a plug attached and included, but you need your own Apple lightening cord. There is a grove all around the edge of the device so you can wrap your cord away to keep things tidy. My cord (in blue) is 3 ft in length, and it fits perfectly fine. There is a push-pull SD card slot, so you can transfer your backup files from this device via both the USB cord and the card. I plugged this in and attached my phone, and there was a prompt to download the iXpand Base app. After downloading, it automatically started backing up my files. There is a message that tells you your files were backed up successfully. I had to reinstall the app once because it got stuck, but overall, no problems. This iXpand Base is convenient, and works well as advertised. Of course you could skip purchasing this and just plug your devices in to charge and backup directly into your computer, but it's nice to have the option of a separate and independent backup storage for your i-device.
