It runs perfectly fine 50fps-60fps no problem
If you have a sff Dell optiplex 780 this will fit if you do a bit of modifications to your computer. I had to cut a bit off the plastic from what holds the CPU cooler in place. It does NOT hinder your ability to screw it back in place. I had to take off the metal frame off the GPU because it doesn't come with a low profile frame. Also, I had to take out my hardrive and place it on top as you can see in the picture. It runs perfectly fine 50fps-60fps no problem. Some games stay at 40-50fps and still very playable. I am playing with an Intel Q8400 so it does keep me from using this card to it's full potential a little bit. Every game I tested this on is still fully playable with no issues of bottlenecking from playing with an older cpu. It runs extremely well under a 230watt power supply. I know a lot of people say a 300watt supply is the minimum but I've literally had no issues of overheating or anything playing at the highest settings. This card is amazing and worth every damn penny. I know this "mod" is a bit ghetto, but for us people who can't afford high end PC's have to do what we can do to make the best out of our old computer and be able to play AAA games on a budget. Get this card. It will be the best investment you'll make. Guaranteed.

    Pros
    - Doesn't need power connection
    - Inexpensive
    - 2GB GDDR5
    - All the modern ports available
    - 3 Monitor support
    - Over Clocked right out of the box
    - MSI After Burner program compatible
    - NVidia Game Ready support
    - 1080p gaming at 60 FPS (on older games, newer titles at 30 FPS)

    Cons
    - Only 2GB GDDR5
    - No SLI support
    - No VR support
    - Can't handle 4K games even though it's 4K ready

I bought this card with no intent on every playing games like Project Cars, Dirt 3, Batman Arkham City, FFXIV, and more at anything above low-medium setting. After all it was paired with a Skylake dual-core Pentium processor. Man, was I in for a surprise. While Project Cars and Ghost Recon Wildlands and Max settings at 60 FPS, it CAN run them at 60 FPS and low-mid settings. Older titles like Dirt 3, Batman Arkham series, Need For Speed Most Wanted, and FFXIV for example ran at max settings. Even the Just Cause 1&2 and Saints Row 2-4 all run smoothly at 50+ FPS. Recently got Watch_Dogs and that too ran smoothly, though not at max settings.

So who should get this card? Casual gamers who just want an inexpencive gaming PC instead of a console. ALso, PC gamers looking for a cheap card to game on while they wait for better ones to become affordable. I'm probably upgrading to a 1060 (or just the 1050 ti) this year and I would recomend if you can afford the 1050 ti, get that instead and will hold until you get your 1070s or 1080s.

Snagged one of these babies over the holiday for a good price. Easy install, drivers included on disk or you can download them online. Make sure you uninstall any graphics utilities, drivers etc you may have installed from your old card first to prevent any conflicts and power your system off and unplug it before prying your case open. I was up and running in about 5 minutes. This is a large card, even though it doesn't seem so from the photos, so do make sure it will fit if you have a mid or slim tower. I'm running it on windows 10 and an i5 2400 3.1ghz 8gb of Ram with the original power supply. I'm able to play my games (like The Witcher 3 which is extremely graphically demanding) at full screen and ultra settings with perfect performance and silent operation. If anything changes I'll update the review, but so far so good. This thing is super powerful and really delivers. If you're a Warcraft player, this is a cheap way to get high fps as well.

Bought it since I was being budget minded. For the scant price, you get an adequate 1080p card. Tested various games in different detail settings, such as The Witcher 3 and Far Cry 4. This GPU can handle those in very high/ultra at playable framerates. Drop the settings to high and see substantial framerate gains. Dump Hair Works in Witcher 3 and stay well over 30fps. For 60fps, medium detail typically guarantees it. In older titles, such as Crysis 1, very high detail often sees 50-60fps. This card is really not a 1440p or 4K cruncher. In those resolutions, it gets crushed. Anti-aliasing can and will bog it. Ambient occlusion and godrays may give it a workout. If you tweak and experiment, or pick the right v-sync mode in the Nvidia Control Panel, fps can be surprising. Disabling it entirely can yield some excellent fps, though you'll deal with tearing. You get a good basic level card here that is about the same as a PS4 GPU's Tflops, so there's nothing to complain about. Given it only requires around 75W straight from a PCI-E slot, you also save on your electrical bill if you game frequently. Aethetically, the card isn't a thing of incredible beauty, nor is it unacceptably hideous. It doesn't offer all the funky lighting you see with many other cards. You just use the bleep out of it and not feel any regrets about overspending. For what it's worth, $125 is about right for a card that pulls its weight (which isn't particularly rotund) graphically. Grab one, install it, game on. Simple.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great budget oriented enthuasist card that is still great for gaming in 2018
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 25, 2018
Style: GTX 1050 TI 4G OCSize: 4GBVerified Purchase
As of 2018 the overclocked version of the card provides more clock speed which might be a factor for most people as it provides higher productivity (faster rendering in video editing and more frames in games). While there are much cheaper cards that will perform about the same, this is a better option because it is guaranteed to run 8 years on constant use and still gets driver updates from Nvidia which says it is a good performing hardware. I would recommend this with a Intel i3-8100 or Amd Ryzen 3 or 5 from any generations (generation one would be better as generation 2 isn't a good price to performance ratio). These cards can also be fitted in Office use Dells or HPs.

    Esta tarjeta excedió mis expectativas
    - No se calienta: Se mantiene en 20°C cuando está en reposo y en 65°C cuando se está jugando
    - Silenciosa: El ventilador no hace ningún ruido o por lo menos no lo he notado
    - Juegos:
*DOOM 2016: Calidad Alta 900p 60fps con vsync activado
*Rise Of The Tomb Rider: Calidad Media 900p 60-55 fps vsync activado
*Resident Evil 7: Calidad Media (por problemas de optimización con texturas en alto pero aun así el juego se ve increíble en medio) 900p 60 vsync activado
*The Witcher 3: Calidad Media con texturas en alto 900p 60fps vsync activado
*Crysis 2: Calidad Alta 900p 60 vsync activado
