One camera stopped working within a month of use. Nothing happened to it. It just stopped working. Picture quality is excellent for day and night vision.
After about three months of use, we did see a dramatic decline in the battery life of the video screen. We have to plug it in after about 30 minutes now. Otherwise, we are working with the camera and video feed just fine.

Disappointing and does not work correctly

When I turn off the LCD display on the parent unit, the sound for camera 2 does not work consistently. When it cycles to camera 1, the sound is perfect, but when it goes back to camera 2, the sound may or may not be on. That worries me, for I want to know that I will hear my infant if she needs me. When the lcd display is turned back on, the sound is perfect for as it cycles through both cameras.
As I am looking at all the features, I find that 2 of the things that were advertised were false or misleading. There is a picture on the ad, showing that you can view 4 images at the same time on the parent unit. However, the instructions show that you can have the parent unit cycle through the 2 cameras, or stay on one. Not see the 2 together. That was a big selling point for me, so it is a big let down. Also, I was led to believe that you can scan the room. The camera is adjustable IF you are at the camera. The only thing the parent unit can do is zoom in, then pan only a little within the zoom. Again, another big selling point for me that is very disappointing.

For the price of the 2 cameras, I think this is a great value. Yes, the battery life isn't great but its not a return factor for me as I don't mind it plugged in by my bed side throughout the night. I have a 1800 sq ft house and seem to have clear signal and image everywhere i've walked with it. The picture quality is better than the previous cameras I have so I am pleased. The wall mount is easy to affix and use and overall i think this is one of the better looking cameras and monitors I've seen. There's a temperature gauge on the monitor but i really don't think that is accurate. My AC has been on for several days and the monitor always reads at least 83 degrees or higher. Nice features, but doesn't work for me, but thats okay.. don't really need it

I was so excited about this monitor, reviews were good and we needed a double monitor. I had a Summer monitor for our first and it was loud and broke up quite a bit. Well this monitor is even louder and it breaks up a lot. We have a sound machine in both rooms so you can hear it break up every time. We also keep the monitor across the room because it is so loud and we still hear it as though it was right next to our head. I don't know what we will do when my newborn is here because I will want the monitor closer to me. It wakes my husband and I up, and I want to throw the thing. I'm so frustrated, I was really excited to find a monitor that was great for our family.
