This 3ft cable from the PowerLine+ line is pretty much the Cadillac of Lightning cables

Anker charging cables are legit. I own several styles, and they're all still working. This 3ft cable from the PowerLine+ line is pretty much the Cadillac of Lightning cables. It's got a heavy duty braided coating, as well as overbuilt ends to reduce the wear caused from bends (You all know that's how your last cable broke!). This beefy cable also comes incased in it's own little grey pouch with a magnetic closure. The pouch is a nice touch, as it helps protect your cable if you throw it in your glove box or in a backpack. The case also allows you to remove just the amount of cable you need for charging, and leave the rest neatly tucked away. Are Anker cables a little pricier than ultra cheap replacements you see all over Amazon? Sure. But they're a lot cheaper than an Apple cable, and you wont have to replace them in 2 months. Which brings me to Anker's customer service. These guys are second to none. Having broken a charger in the past, I can say from experience that they stand behind the products and honor their warranty. That's a strong statement in today's world of fly-by-night companies making cell phone accessories on the cheap. Do yourself a favor and just spend a little extra on the Anker cable. They're worth every penny.

First let me say: it's awesome.
I knew about Anker and its products for a while but stayed away from their products because they are a little bit on the expensive side.
After having my fair share of terrible lighting cables from Amazon and Apple. I saw a review online on the Powerline+ cables and decided to give it a try.
And it is worth every penny.
Yes $14 for a 3ft cable is pretty insane, but it seems to last a long time.
I only had mine for a few weeks and I use it everyday no problem. My iPhone 6 is over a year old now and it doesn't always last me the whole day (which can be annoying if you use public transportation and need to know when the next bus or train arrives). And unlike cables from Amazonbasics or Apple themselves. This one doesn't seem to have issues with the wires inside coiling up making the plastic tubing look like it is getting a tumor and eventually break open making it a nightmare to use the cable and worrying that one day it would leave you hanging with 0% battery and a mother terrified and worried that you got kidnapped.
I would recommend this cable to anyone who lives with an iPhone and needs to carry the cable with them to make sure your mother isn't calling the police when you have no battery.

When my iPhone cable went damage I got frustrated. Frustrated because I had already replaced this cable twice for the year. TWICE for the year. And mind you these were from the Apple store. I got tired of buying the same thing over and over and decided to get something more sturdy. The price point got me a little off at first but when I saw the review videos I just had to get it.

The cable works fantastic! And I wish I had gotten this a long time ago. The case it comes with is very cosy and keeps the cord from dangling all around in my bag. Only thing I wished is that the little case could clip down at the front. Other than that, the cable is sturdy and works well. If you want to be fashionable you can even get it in red!

Definitely recommend buying if you're serious about your electronics. You won't regret it!

Looks and feels like a quality cable. I use it in my car for data and charging. For some reason when I connect, it doesn't charge. The iPhone says its charging but not much and occasionally not at all. Data will sometimes not work right off the bat too. My cheap mono price cable, which is 1/4 the cost of this cable, has none of these issues.

I can't recommend this cable. It looks good but doesn't work well at all.

UPDATE:
Without my requesting, Anker support reached out to me about my cable. No other company has done that for me! They offered to replace, at no cost to me, and it arrived in a couple days. I used it for a few days and the new one has no issue, charges my phone as expected. On a trip I did side by side test using my phone and another, and the old cord barely charged it, while the new one did.

So, I must have got one out of a million that had a problem. No big deal, it happens. I am happy they stood behind their product and went out of their way to fix this even when I said not to worry (I wasn't looking for justice or anything like that).

After going through numerous Apple iPhone cords (due to the poor build quality and fraying that occurs at the phone end), I decided to do some research and find a better cable. I discovered that a lot of people recommended the Powerline+ by Anker. I knew immediately this had to be a good product because I purchased a battery pack from Anker last November (which delivers 7 full charges to my iPhone before needing recharged). Anyways, I purchased this product immediately and I am beyond impressed. The cable is made of a material that is much sturdier than the materials Apple uses in its own lightning cable. Not to mention, this is a MFI cable certified by Apple, so no need to worry about your iPhone catching on fire or other odd issues. And it was half the price on Amazon!! Great job Anker!

This cable started out pretty great! I was confident that it was doing what it claimed to be. It charged my phone pretty fast along with an Anker block too. BUT it's been 5 months and it's now charging my phone ridiculously SLOW and it sometimes my phone would even say "This accessory may not be supported." Kinda disappointed.

Discovered Anker products via glowing reviews on Amazon sites across the world. Quality stuff and not at the highly expensive end of prices.

The lightning cable seems well built and durable from initial observations. It is charging just fine, equivalent to the Apple original cable and normal 5V1A charger.

When used with Mi 2i power bank (which supports fast charging which the iPhone also supports), I think there is a marginal dip in efficiency compared to the Apple cable. For example, where the Mi power bank + Apple cable charges at around 2% per minute, using the Anker cable it comes around 1.8-1.9% per minute. This is only a casual observation and even if it is so, it is not at all an issue. For all general intents and purposes, this Anker cable feels like a dependable and safe alternative to the original Apple cable.

And the protective fabric pouch/cover is SUCH A value addition. I see that Anker provides such pouches and covers with many of their other products as well, like the USB-C docks. Great to be caring a little extra for the users.

Belkin is the other brand I’d trust with cables in addition to Anker.

Das Kabel war täglich in Gebrauch und hat bis heute super funktioniert.

Nach etwa 3 jahren ist das Kabel nun an den Knickpunkten am Stecker mit einem Wackelkontakt.
Ich weiß nicht ob es noch Garantie oder ähnliches vom Hersteller gibt.
