I do Telemedicine and learned early on that patients do not like a view of my nose hairs. Putting a laptop on a box or book to raise the camera works, but keyboarding is difficult. Arms and hands fatigue.
I bought a laptop holder early in the Pandemic that is heavy, a bit difficult to adjust 3 joints and make sure it is level. It is bulky but easy to move -then go thru setting up again. It lives on my desk at work.
This is much lighter with a single joint on each side.rather than a heavy tray for the laptop, it simply spreads and supports the laptop on the two arms. It is less adjustable, but that is a feature. The height and angle are easily set with a triangular brace on each side. I find the lowest setting easiest for keyboarding and looking at the patient on the screen.
I use this from home or when traveling. It is less robustly engineered, but more adaptable and moved. The price is much cheaper. I have not seen likelihood of wear, tear or breakage. It holds laptop firmly and doesn’t move on the table. I totally recommend for teleconferencing and telemedicine.

Simple but works
The stand itself does what it’s supposed to do. For the price point I can’t say I was expecting unicorn level sorcery or anything. It could be a little more sturdier materials I guess, but again, it’s in line with the price.It’s got different angle adjustments which is nice, but the last setting which would be the perfect one for me doesn’t fully sit in its holes and so can’t be used. But the overall effectiveness of the stand is what I was looking for. I needed a stand that I could slide around and move closer to me for a straighter seated position while typing for long periods of time and this stand allows for that.
