Figured out why it didn't work on passthrough
I'll keep the videos up for the purposes of educating the public what happens if you attempt to split a single 150 watt 8-pin PCIe cable into TWO, drawing too much power from a single cable and causing the PSU to go crazy and shut down your entire server. It took a ton of Googling and no direct answers before I learned that this is what happens. From what I was told, I could have avoided a fire hazard or a blown PSU or mobo.So after I bought a 6+6 to 8-pin adapter, now I have two 8-pins, and I ran GPU-Z to ensure that the video card is properly fed. That's my only caveat about the card because you have to buy a adapter cable. This isn't the Founder's Edition, this is some crazy, cracked-out 1900mhz+ clock speed GPU. It's a insane card. It's massive, with three monsterous fans and I can't even close the lid on my T7610 Precision Graphical Workstation.I checked GPU-Z and it sucks up to 330W running hashcat on Windows. Because you have 375W max, 300W from two 8-pins, and 75W from the slot. This thing is crazy fast for it's time. Now that I know it can crack hashes, I want to take it on a spin on my Proxmox server guest in gaming. Right now fiddling with CPU-pinning with numa groups and all kinds of wacky things that i'm pretty sure the designers didn't expect me to do XD

5.0 out of 5 stars Beastly Card / Quiet / Cool
Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2017
    Participating in ZOTAC Experience -

Let's be real here, The 1080TI is a straight beast in general.
So far the card has been amazing, extremely quiet, temperatures are always within a solid range for being air cooled.
Performance is amazing, I had a ASUS Direct CUII GTX 780 and it was a solid card and give ASUS all the cred it for that card holding it's own while being overclocked for 4 years.
This card looks good, it's definitely heavy, the lighting is bright / vibrant if you care about that kind thing and you have RGB for any color your heart desires.
It has wrecked every game I have thrown at it and I am blown away.

I have this card paired with an i7 4770k which does an amazing job and cannot wait to upgrade to the processor and motherboard in due time to see what else it can do.

Just got out of a few matches of PubG and the temp is currently at 45 C and fan speed is at 30%.

Ease of install - very simple
Packaging - Securely packaged, included a few cables for SLI and power.
Quality - Card is heavy but is very solid and feels quality.
Performance - I have no complaints at all. It's a night and day upgrade for me. Multiple benchmarks while monitoring the fan temps and it's been consistent each time.
