The noise-canceling feature is awesome and fantastic for hearing surrounding enemies. However, others say that the max volume honestly isn't that loud, the mic volume will be very low when trying to talk in chat, and the lack of noise-gate settings similar to those found on Astro.

Pricey, but best wireless headset for PS4 and PC so far.
UPDATED (1/24/21):Dropping down to 3 stars because they've misrepresented the sound quality for this product. On both their website and this Amazon page, they claim:"Hear everything with high resolution speaker drivers. The Arctis Pro headset features premium speaker drivers with high-density neodymium magnets that reproduce Hi-Res audio out to 40,000 Hz, nearly double what most standard headsets are capable of (22,000 Hz)."However, the wireless 2.4gHz GameDAC is unable to transmit sampling rates higher than 48kHz; so you can't actually get wireless hi-res on these headphones. You only get that on their WIRED version (the Arctis Pro WIRED with GameDAC).I listen to a lot of hi-res audio and was excited to have a set of wireless headphones that could do surround sound as well as Hi-Res at 96kHz and above; sadly, these cannot. That is why the frequency response is essentially cut off on the top and bottom, it's a limitation in 2.4gHz transceiver (why they didn't use 5gHz, I don't know). The only other way to get hi-res is wired or with Bluetooth/aptX-HD. If you want hi-res audio, steer away from 2.4gHz technology. [NOTE: they confirm this is the case on their support FAQ as well).I've tried out a lot of different wired headphones and wireless headsets in the last two years:1. Razer Blackshark V2 (3/5)2. Bose QuietComfort 2 (4/5)3. Razer Nari Ultimate (4/5)4. Jabra Evolve 75 (4/5)5. Apple AirPods Pro 2019 (5/5)6. Sennheiser 598HD (5/5)How do these compare overall:SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless = 3.75/5 (loses a bit for discomfort)Pros: - Best spatial/surround headset (DTS 7.1 certified) - Great amplitude/sound volume (limited to 90db, but can be disabled to increase output by 3-7db) - Good frequency response - Excellent wireless range - Great microphone transmit quality (a tiny bit of a hiss, but otherwise 5x5) - Fantastic controls (nearly the best of any headset) - Included DAC has some great features (including volume control, a battery life LCD, and various wireless/bluetooth settings, and a secondary battery+charger)Cons: - Very tight fit (1.2lbs of strapping force is enough to make these uncomfortable to wear after 2hrs) - Very limited velco adjustment (won't fit all head sizes) - Max volume not loud enough (low-end distorts at around 90db) - Earphone cup depth is too shallow, causing the inner surface to press against the ears causing mild discomfort - Placement of the headset volume control wheel is SUPER-annoying (every time I grab the headset I accidently raise or lower the volume) - Requires EXTENSIVE tweaking to get a GREAT sound quality; they are only decent out of the box (I would have returned them if I hadn't adjusted my PC's EQ)I've been on the fence after receiving these last week. They become very uncomfortable to wear after about 2 hours. This is very disappointing because I need to wear them all day for roughly 3-4 hours at a time (like many people in our near-total Work-From-Home society). The sound quality out of the box wasn't great for a $350 pair of headphones. It was DECENT mind you and compares favorably to other low-mid-ranged headsets; but for this price point, I expected to have a pleasant listening experience right away. Instead, it took me a few days to adjust the EQ when going from my Sennheiser 598HD (wired) to these. The 598s are WAY better in terms of out-of-the-box sound profile and frequency response (wired will almost always be better in these cases). The audio profile on Artis Pro's are a bit tinny and have too much emphasis on the highs with the bass being a bit too boomy ( I ensured Windows Sonic/DTX was turned off). I found the frequency curve to be your standard V-pattern from 25Hz to 16kHz. Though, I barely get any response when changing the 25 or 16k. To me, that says the low and high frequency response isn't actually the 10-40kHz as they claim and is more like 40-10kHz. In fact, in the DB meter I ran on the left and right speakers I found almost no frequency response above 16K. This is with Master quality Tidal tracks with sample quality set for 96kHz/24bit in Windows 10.Overall, these are OK...but they're not worth the price-point. These should be more in the $200 area for this quality. Unfortunately, I have yet to find any better wireless headphones other than Apple AirPods pro (5/5).

5.0 out of 5 stars Probabilmente il NON PLUS ULTRA del mondo delle cuffie gaming
Reviewed in Italy on April 18, 2021
