Excellent graphics card for a great price. The price war between AMD and Nvidia is working in our favor. I won't go into details on the benchmarks, but I'm running high FPS on my most graphically demanding games on ultra.A lot of people will say to wait for aftermarket versions of these cards, and that might be good advice, but I haven't experienced the problems yet people claim to have with blower cards. Temperatures are well below danger limits according to msi afterburner so far. I'm not sure what the normal noise standard is, but I would definitely not call the fan on it noisy. But you can hear it, which is maybe why some people who want a silent system complain about reference cards.Anyway, I am loving it so far. I can update this review if anything changes.

I built a new computer from the ground up and wanted to go with the latest available technology. My prior computer had only onboard graphics.

I don't game, I use my system for image and video processing. I don't overclock. So far, the performance of this card has been great, far faster than my prior system.

Reviews have knocked it for using a box fan for cooling, but for my use, the card stays cool and the fan is quiet.

After under-volt getting an average of 100 w power draw, and 137 W peak power draw while gaming! This is incredible considering the performance is not far from 1080ti.

Don’t listen to reviews saying it runs hot and loud. They must have very poor airflow in the case. Card is very quiet under load, I never noticed it over my case fans. The max temp I’ve seen while gaming is 73C. Most of the time the card sits in the upper 60’s.

A good graphics card for the price. It runs Division 2 at ultra with no issues. I plan to eventually use VR with it. I wish the fan was larger to move move air at a more consistent speed. I can hear the fan as it changes speed. It isn't excessively loud and not an issue when wearing headphones.

The software and drivers are not very good. Adding my Acer AL2221W was more tedious then I would have liked. After adding the Acer drivers I had to create a custom resolution profile. Then I was able to change the resolution in the Windows Display settings. Windows sometimes starts up without a picture on the displays. I have to power off the PC and try again to get the logon screen and desktop.

Love this card, runs like a champ.
Ran Gears of War at 1440p ultra settings (ultra textures downloaded) at 90fps like a boss.
AMD software allows you to underclock or undervolt for better thermals.
Blower style cards are much noisier and hotter but as long as you have good airflow this card won't get that hot or loud.

No driver disk. No manual. No slip cover on the PCIe male slot connector. Nothing. Thin padding in the box, I'd expect a light bulb to be packaged like this. I wouldn't agree to build a Radeon until after the first round had sold through based on the the reviews and comments from all over the web. Made no difference. The only thing I haven't experienced so far is the BSOD. It stutters, locks up in a super resolution 1/2 screen occasionally, flickers off and on even when nothing is going on. I've played with every setting in TRIXX. When it is running well it IS FAST, and I didn't even notice the blower make a sound, but those two things are all I can point to. I do not have time to troubleshoot AMD drivers every time they release something. Nor will I ever tell a client to wait for the drivers to get fixed because I'll bet it's a really good card when it's fixed. I'll see if I can talk this one into yet another 2070 Super. I send every box that I use to build a client's system home with them. I'd be embarrassed to do so with this. With Nvidia even the packaging looks like it's quality and that they care. Maybe this reflects only on Sapphire in this case but it's all I need not to build another one. Nvidia is seamless, both the video and HD audio. I turned off the audio on this and it wouldn't come back on even after rebooting. So I reinstalled the driver again. Audio works again, same problem with video. Tried it with 4 different games, 3 different resolutions, 2 different refresh rates. Tried it with VLC and a Bluray movie running right off the PCIe M.2. Still stutters, flickers, pauses, you name it. It's not the hardware. Guess how little I care about that. I try way too hard to not have to ever hear a client is disappointed and AMD had a chance with this. Went online to Sapphire support, got a pop up that the serial # was not recognized? It was correct as typed and I took a picture of it right off the card before I put it in. I'll call Sapphire, never get ahold of anyone, then product support at Amazon to see if they've heard of any new fix I haven't heard about. Then I'll try real hard to get the client into something else and send this back.
Edit: Tried the latest driver in a last ditch attempt to save this, it crashed to blue screen in the middle of install. Pulled another star. It's already going back, just really wanted it to work. It might be a great card in another generation of drivers (or 3!!!!).

4.0 out of 5 stars Gran bella scheda ma...
Reviewed in Italy on October 5, 2019

4.0 out of 5 stars Great card, great performance.

Good card, bought mine on black friday sale.

Can get noisy if manually set fan above 50%.

It does get decently warm hovering around 69-74°c max load.
Card does not have a back plate, which sucks.
Maximum overclock is 1850mhz because card is locked to prevent further performance.
Overall good card. Handles every game 1080p maximum settings well over 60fps
    Would buy again.
