Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I had an Amazon-branded fabric cover for my old Kindle … it was fine, though ultimately pointless as the unit became damaged in a suitcase anyway. As much as I didn’t really *want an Amazon-branded cover on my Kindle Oasis 10th generation (and I do still hate the unavoidable logo embossed on the front — for something meant to look/feel sleek, maybe only the arrow in lieu of the whole text logo would be nicer), I am glad I finally “settled” for this cover (used, but only the box gave it away, the cover itself is in excellent, like-new condition). It snaps onto the Oasis & wraps it perfectly, no excessive force necessary for placement & removal. Added weight seems negligible at most, and the red leather is much more pleasant in-person than the product photos suggest. Magnets hold the cover shut & trigger the screen sleep/wake exactly as expected. I still wouldn’t pay full price for one of these, but for peace-of-mind, for knowing the case will perform as it should because it was explicitly designed for this device, the used prices seem perfectly fair.
Excellent device. Great screen - can read in sunlight or no-light !!! The backlight works great. I really enjoy using this. Page turning is very convenient & is the Kindle super light & is easy to hold/turn pages. You can enlarge/shrink the text to your liking. I recommend getting the leather cover - it automatically saves your page & turns off when you close it (and protects from scratches), then opens back up to that same page. The ads are no bother at all, only on the initial "swipe open" page. Battery lasts quite long. Only negative - doesn't use the USB-C charging cable, so have to be sure to only use the "mini USB" cable (I think that's what they call it) - a pain since all my other phones/laptops use USB-C. But all-in-all, I highly recommend it.
I've had this cover for 5 years and it has held up very well. It is only now fraying a tiny little bit on the edge and still going strong. I'm sure I won't need to replace it until I upgrade my oasis someday. Over the years the leather has shown a few marks and scratches, but that's why leather wears so well. It still looks great! I would buy this cover again in a heartbeat.
I love my Kindle. With my last upgrade, I cheapened out and got the fabric cover. After 2 years (I use it a lot) it had frayed. This upgraded cover is slightly cushioned and nice to hold. It folds back on itself easily. The red color is very expensive looking. Can't recommend this enough.
I was a bit hesitant about buying this official case for Kindle Oasis due to its price and reviews online. I have multiple kindle oasis, from Casebot, Ayotu, Moko and Noreve (France) and I must say i was really surprised when I opened the box. Although the case has hard plastic on the sides (unlike Casebot Cases with rubbery materials) the leather is really nice and smells like authentic leather. The case is also surprisingly thin and light making the one hand reading still comfortable with a case unlike other brands i mentioned above. The case also sticks when folded for added comfort due to its small metal at the back that attracts the magnets when folded. The case is thin but the leather is real and feels nice to hold. I don’t know why they are saying the leather feels cheap but it doesn’t feel cheap at all. And I also have the Noreve case to compare. If you want a well built case but doesn’t add bulk, this is probably the one. I thought casebot is thin enough until i bought this case and I am happy with my purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars

Many of us who use kindles have eyesight that is not as sharp as it once was and we enjoy reading our books in a large font. With that said, I had a little trouble getting my kindle into this cover. The cover seemed a little too small. I finally looked at it closely (bad eyesight - remember?) and realized I had to push on the kindle to snap it into place. That solved all my problems. This kindle and cover combination is lighter weight than my previous kindles and I really am enjoying it.
The cover has a nice feel and comfort when held. Does a nice job of waking up the kindle device when the cover is opened. Looks good and has a nice quality feel to it.
