Directions

Keep it Clean: Regularly clean your band and wrist—especially after working out or sweating. Rinse the band with water or wipe it with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Do NOT use hand soap, body soap, dish soap, hand sanitizers, cleaning wipes or household cleaners which could get trapped beneath the band and irritate skin. Always dry the band well before putting it back on. Keep it Dry: While Fitbit devices are water resistant*, it’s not good for your skin to wear a wet band for long periods of time. If your elastomer band gets wet—like after sweating or showering—rinse and dry it thoroughly before putting it back on your wrist. Be sure your skin is dry before you put your band back on. Don’t Wear It Too Tight: Make sure your band isn’t too tight. Wear the band loosely enough that it can move back and forth on your wrist. If you use Fitbit products with Purepulse Heart Rate tracking, for better heart rate readings during exercise, we suggest wearing the band so it’s secure, but not too tight, and wearing the band higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). Lower the band on your wrist and loosen it after exercise. Give Your Wrist a Rest: Prolonged rubbing and pressure may irritate the skin, so give your wrist a break by removing the band for an hour after extended wear. Love it just a little upset
I was really excited to get this for my birthday. I was upset when I found out it doesn't track flights of stairs. I haven't tried it out in the water yet I'm a little nervous it will get ruined because I have terrible luck. The clasps were so hard to switch between small and large bands. Honestly I think they should leave it in the large because I've never seen someone wear a small. Since my wrist isn't to big but isn't small enough to fit in a small, the extra clasp holes just move around and hang on my wrist which looks ridiculous. Maybe if they had a loop to hold the extra material in place it would look better. I have problems with getting it to sync to my phone at times. I know its not the phone alone because I have tried to do it with friends phones when theirs work perfectly. Most of the time it goes off saying I have a call but it was over an hour ago. At times fitbit.com has the updated information when the app does not which is a real bummer. I enjoy the challenges just got one a few minutes ago and it said I received it January 1st 1970. I have no clue what happened there at all!I really enjoy that I can go swimming with it. I hate running and jogging so swimming is how I burn most of my calories. With my Charge I would look up how many calories x amount of swimming would use and log it that way I knew roughly how much I was burning. Being able to automatically detect swimming is amazing and the main reason why I bought it! The tracker is very easy to put into the band. I'm slightly OCD so it takes me a few to get it the way I like it. It has to be right side up and the clasp has to be on the outer side of my wrist for personal preference. I love how small it is and the fact that the lights are not super bright and they do not turn on when you flick your wrists. With the charge I would always blind myself when I turned over in bed.Overall there are a few "minor" issues depending on your preference. Over all very good but I don't suggest switching to the Flex 2 unless you do a lot of swimming and make it worth it.
