It's been a few years since I needed a wifi extender however the house we're in now is a wifi deadzone on the side opposite the router, after a bit of research I purchased this one due to Wifi 6 support (a few of our devices are Wifi 6, more will be in future of course).

I was dubious about the Tether app setup, to the point I had my laptop ready to do the initial setup on it if the app setup wasn't all it was cracked up to me. Turns out I was pleasantly surprised, the app setup was super quick and easy, worked first time, and the extender was ready to go within less than 5 minutes.

Since setup we've had a great signal in the deadspot side of the house, with full coverage now in all rooms, and speeds having increased five fold in the deadspot side.

Highly recommend this extender for ease of setup alone, performance is great too.

Works well as described when placed halfway between your router and the WiFi poor area in your house as long as it has a good reception of your router WiFi signal. Useful blue light indicator confirms this or yellow if not good. No loss of download or upload speed compared to using router directly. It is a little larger than the picture suggests but acceptable. Happy with purchase.

Amazingly effective. My 4G ZTE MF286R router can only work from one window, The wifi does not then reach far corners of house or outside office. With then TP-Link RE505X on anther window, I can cover all I need. Plus then garden!

TP-Link Tether App did not work with my router. The alternative we setup "by hand" was a little tedious. But the result is brilliant

I was only able to add one router to each WIFI frequency 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Are more possible?
