Both Pedals broke apart very first Apple fitness workout
Seems like a good but extremely cheap machine. Buyer beware!!! Both My pedals broke apart very first “Actual” Apple fitness workout. And now I have an okay machine with broken pedals. Useless now and Very disappointed. The price point for this is way too high for something that breaks when it is used in an actual intense workout. Very sad and out $350 that I won’t get back because it sat without being used.

Der Aufbau verlief dank deutscher detaillierter Montageanleitung mit ca. 20 Minuten recht fix. Ich brachte kein extra Werkzeug, da einfaches, aber ausreichendes Werkzeug beilag.
In der Anleitung befand sich ebenfalls ein QR-Code für eine Android- und App. Die Installation verlief reibungslos, bei der Verbindung per Bluetooth mit dem Gerät musste ich jedoch WLAN und meinen Standort freigeben. Danach wurde direkt entweder nach einem Tastendruck der Bedienoberfläche des Rudergeräts, oder nach einmaligem Ziehen der Ruderschnur das Display aktiviert und schlussendlich damit die Bluetoothverbindung aktiviert. Somit wurde das Rudergerät auch direkt von der App gefunden. Danach gab es direkt eine Liveübertragung der Werte. Zugegeben, es handelt sich um eine simple App, welche mir jedoch auf Grund des großen Displays (Ich benutze ein Tablet) und der Trainingshistorie einen Mehrwert bietet.
Auch gibt es die Möglichkeit, sich mit der Kinomap App zu verbinden, was bei mir nur funktioniert, wenn auch die andere App installiert ist. Dennoch muss ich dann nur die Kinomap App starten. Es macht viel spaß die einzelnen Ruderprogramme mit den Übungsvideos inklusive Streckenverlauf zu bewältigen.
Auch ist dank der Lautstärke der Rudermaschine nebenbei Fernsehen, oder Netflix schauen kein Problem. Die Geräuschkulisse ist mit ca 45 db sehr leise.
Es ist löblich, dass in der Anleitung ebenfalls bebildert gezeigt wird, wie man richtig rudert. Ich persönlich habe es jedoch in mehreren Youtube Videos verständlicher nachvollziehen können.
Ich habe mir eine Rudermaschine gekauft, da ich seit mehreren Monaten Rückenschmerzen habe und mich auf Grund meines Bürojobs gerne sportlicher betätigen wollte, auch wenn es draußen mal kälter ist.
Nach einer Woche (alle 2 Tage 20 min Training) waren meine Rückenschmerzen weg. Geil!
Die Verabrietung des Gerätes ist solide. die wichtigen Bauteile bestehen aus stabil aussehendem Metall. Nur die Schale vom Ruderkorpus besteht aus Kunststoff, was etwas billig aussieht.
Die Ruderschnur erinnert an einen Autogurt, welcher auch ebenfalls wie ein Autogurt mehrfach vernäht wurde.
Der Schlitten ist auch nach einer halben Stunde Training nicht unbequem und er ist vor allem leise. Jeweils auf beiden Seiten sitzt man auf drei großen Kunststoffrollen in einem Aluminiumslider. Vorsichtshalber habe ich es dennoch mit etwas Silikonspray "getunt". Ob es jetzt noch leiser ist, konnte ich aber nicht feststellen.
Im Betrieb funktioniert das magnetische Bremssystem angenehm gut. Man wird zur richtigen Zeit zurückgezogen und es wirkt wie authentische Bewegungsabläufe.
Etwas besser hätte der Hersteller jedoch das Display, bzw. die Tablethalterung konstruieren können, da sie unnötigerweise etwas Platz im aufgestelltem Zustand wegnimmt. Wenn man diese zusammenklappen könnte, wäre es optimal.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf, da mir der Kauf einer einfach hydraulischen zu wenig, jedoch einer 1000€ Maschine zu teuer war. Somit bekommt man für den Preis ein eine gute Leistung.
