So amazing. Words can't even. I first tried this ghee as a butter substitute because I am extremely sensitive to dairy products. For the most part, I live without dairy but there are some recipes and cooking methods that just need butter. What started out as a simple replacement food turned into so much more. I use this ghee on everything. The taste is phenomenal. I had tried another brand of ghee first and almost swore never to touch the stuff again, but I'm glad I gave Tin Star a shot. The Brown Butter version has an almost sweet flavor, and its creamy deliciousness is great on anything you would slather butter on. Putting it on sweet potatoes with a sprinkle of sea salt and cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice is my fav. I also love to make sweet potato and parsnip hash with this ghee. I have never had any reaction to it and I love being able to reap the health benefits from the healthy fats and vitamins A, D, and E. And I know this ghee comes from well-sourced butter and is made by a company I can trust.

This is the best Ghee product I've EVER had!! My wellness physician says I must stop using diary products due to some surprisingly and unexpected issue that started arising in my body. I searched and found several Ghee products on Amazon... but this one REALLY caught my eye because of its rave reviews and other great claims. I kindly emptied my cart of the previous Ghee product I was about to order and replaced it with this one. So far, it has not disappointed! Grass fed, glass jar, little or no sodium, creamy, buttery and flavorful! I just got it a few days ago and it's almost gone! I'll be ordering it again soon! Thanks Tin Star Foods!

I previously bought this ghee in the smaller size as part of a two pack with their regular ghee. While both are delicious and are cooking staples in my kitchen, the flavor of the brown butter variety is out of this world. The product is on the pricey side, but the quality is worth it compared to the cheaper brands or Trader Joe's ghee. I definitely recommend this to anyone trying ghee for the first time!

The ghee itself is fantastic. Top notch. However the container is absurd. I'm a 6 foot man and I cannot get these open 90% of the time. Literally, doubled over, hands turning white, grimacing and releasing animal-like grunting sounds, straining to get to that sweet, sweet ghee, but I cannot open the thing. Not even if I place it on the stove to melt the stuff. My hands aren't slipping or anything either. I just do not possess the raw, brute muscular force that you need to get into these things.

Ridiculously delicious. It has a brown butter, slightly caramelized flavor. I learned about it when doing a Whole30 as a great addition to bullet proof coffee. It's also a tasty alternative to icing--no sugar! Melted on a toasted bagel, this brown butter ghee will make you dream happily about food all day long. You decide whether that's a good thing.

This is a fairly pricey food item. It might be a good "reward" to work for instead of a doughnuts.

So I've been using Ghee for the past couple of years and have tried numerous brands. My kids and I have even done side-by-side taste tests comparing the different brands and the Tin Star brand wins hands down. The aroma is very "nutty" and the flavor is very "buttery", not a great description but the best I can come up with. There is some sort of separation that leaves some brown stuff on the bottom of the jar but it doesn't seem to affect the quality. Tin Star Brown Butter stays fairly solid at room temperature while some other brands that I've tried are runny/liquidy - I prefer the more solid consistency of Tin Star. I use ghee sparingly due to the cost, (and all the ghees are pretty expensive), but the flavor is just so much better than regular butter. I use Tin Star Brown butter for cooking eggs, and any vegetables that I fry which really adds a nice touch of flavor over regular butters. I give four stars on Value for Money due to it's high cost relative to regular butter. If it was cheaper I would probably be less stingy in what I use it for thereby using more. Flavor, five stars, best tasting Ghee that I've tried and I've tried many. Overall four stars due to expense, maybe if more people buy the product the price will come down and I'll use more of it. In summary, Tin Star Brown Butter is the most flavorful ghee brand that I've tested and is a staple in my pantry.
